Watching him on TV last night made me think he will make a good president someday

There will never be another Rush Limbaugh, and there will never be another Donald Trump. I guess they broke the mold with those two. Trump has the “eye of the tiger.” I don’t see that in Vance or Trump’s kids. Trump gets shot, and it doesn’t even phase him. Of course I will vote for Vance for president, but this country needs a real honey badger, because they just don’t give a shit.

Never. What Trump wants to do is dangerous and bad for America/Americans (if you care about ALL of them), and most of the rationale is based on lies and scenarios that aren’t really happening. The one good thing about Trump is that he’s as obvious of a liar and con man that I may have ever seen, so he’ll struggle to sell these crazy ideas to enough people to maybe vote ourselves to safety.

Vance is way worse. Same terrible ideas, but packaged way better. Guy lied the entire debate, even in the persona he presented of himself, trying to match the “nice guy energy” of Walz. Who we saw Tuesday night was NOT JD Vance. That was “uh-oh, EVERYONE’S watching”-JD Vance. He was right back on his bullshit at a rally the next day, speaking to friendlies. Guy is a used car salesman to the Nth degree.

But he’s smooth and polished in his delivery, which unfortunately people seem to forget that that doesn’t make a lick of difference about what kind of President you’ll be. No slick-talk can make bad policy good. I don’t want to be associated with anyone who speaks of other humans the way he does, no decent person would do that, and above all-else, AT LEAST superficially, I demand high character decency from a President, and both Trump and Vance completely lack it.

I love how people are trying to say Kamala has “flip-flopped” on this position or that, and meanwhile Vance LITERALLY likened Trump to Hitler, SINCE he’s been in politics, which is just two years, so it was recent. Funny how his opinion changed once Trump started endorsing him. Totally not an opportunist trying to put himself in a position of power, no one would ever be about that in Washington. RFK and Tulsi too, they’re all on the up-and-up, we SWEAR😂😂😂

I'm thinking if there are no other seismic shifts Ramaswamy seems more popular. He has some serious momentum. With Vance let's see how he plays off his current steam. Like nationally he was an unknown pretty much before his nomination, and lukewarm before the debate.

Same as Ramaswamy before the Republican debate actually. Let's see how it plays out, a lot will depend on how this election plays out as well, not just presidential, the impact of state and local elections will be enormous.

I'd put Vegas odds on at least, at least 2 million illegals voting too.

I definitely would. I appreciate both of them, actually. That's what a debate should look like and how they should behave. They were both very respectful and neither showed any arrogance or hatred toward each other. I do believe there is a definite fundamental disagreement between the two on what the future of America should look like but there isn't an unhealthy hatred between them.

I'm not sure I'd support him as a president and I think Trump could have picked a better running mate. However, I might end up voting for him because I'll never cast another vote for a name with a  D  next to it.
