I think this is ridiculous and makes us look “weird” & lacking of leadership on the world stage….
I want American politics to be boring, normal, and not filled to the brim of Trump this & Trump that & blah blah blah Trump.
2024 is our last stand to not only keep Trump away from The White House, but to keep him out of the news cycle & to give Republicans more control over their Party to go back to well founded Conservative Principles instead of this Dystopian Slope!
The facts are 2028 we won’t land a man or woman on the Mars surface under Harris OR Trump, Trump stole 300+ classified documents from his time in the very office he is running for this election season, Trump settled $25 million to Students enrolled in his defrauded real estate seminars back in 2018, and Trump didn’t do anything while a mob of his lunatics attacked & ransacked & fought, injured, killed officers and fellow supporters, destroyed windows to unlawfully enter the Capitol holding soon to be sworn in VP Kamala Harris & soon to be ex VP Mike Pence also Republicans & Democrats who scrambled for safety and some officers on the Capitol who witnessed the attacks committed suicide in the days/months followed.
My wish for America: Be normal, try to be more boring & forgetful, and stop with the random Trump facts of the week because we should be having a serious discussion…. Fighting for clicks, views, retweets, etc. made this man come back in 2024 and I pray to God your idiocy didn’t bring him back for a second term because we went through that dark road before…. We Should Not Go Back!

Are we even a capitalist society anymore? Just wondering because capitalism is when the means of production belongs to the private individual and the right to own property, otherwise it all belongs to the public sector i. e. the government.
This might come to a surprise to a lot of you but corporations are NOT privately owned. The IRS defines them as: "formed under state law by the filing of articles of incorporation with the state." Which is another way of saying that they are on the same team.
Ever wondered why they not only survived the pandemic but thrived while small businesses got stabbed in the back and some places like new york finished off the ones that remained by forbidding online orders? Why was Amazon able to get away with pulling the plug on Parler even though it violates antitrust laws (Disney also could have gotten away with deliberately killing that Disney+ user's wife if they didn't back down)? Why it is just so damn difficult to hold them accountable for selling your data even though everyone knows they do it (sure, some members of congress are trying but it never goes anywhere)?
Becuase the rules don't apply to them. They can make whatever conditions they want so long as they make it as difficult as possible to read and the government doesn't care because they are in bed with each other.
This is not capitalism. If it was, monopolies wouldn't exist because it actually encourages competition, and governments wouldn't be swayed by bribery.
The solution is to sever the connection between corporation and state, not to let the state control everything (universal healthcare, free college etc.) Because then it's be like putting everything under one corporation that you have no choice but to pay whether you use the services or not and there will be no drive to improve since you can't simply boycott them.

Imagine your rage when you're an employer and have to pay wages to your employees, you think they just do nothing and smirk behind your back. State funded slavery would reduce this rage. Of course questions like who pays taxes and buys products when employees don't earn any money, but such trivialities don't bother you when you're a full blood capitalist pig. XD

Republicans!
Does anyone actually believe that kids are getting transgender surgery in schools?
Or babies are being aborted after birth?
Or immigrants are eating your pets?
Or Democrats are controlling the weather?
And you wonder why we think you’re all a bunch of fucking idiots….

7.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. What's next in this capitalist society? Financial collapse followed by cultural collapse. Not even Trump can stop it. Delay it, maybe. Rome-2 is approaching. We need to be prepared to preserve remnants of our culture and technology. We need to separate ourselves from the Left. Anarchy and chaos (Dark Ages) are approaching.
The USA will lose 1/2 its population to attrition and war. A tribal/feudal period of defended territories and city states will emerge. Border wars between makers and takers will happen. The Schiff is going to hit the fan and there's no stopping it.
Yep. Your I-phone will stop working.

We futility make a hap hazard space colony for only the richest to extend humanity to the stars for 30 years before collapsing. While earth's population struggles for 30 years after the space colony death as struggling unsustainable nomads.
Big more likely hope.
There is a positive tipping point of climate change discussion. Where the people against are as crazy as flat earth's and get things done and nessesity is the mother of invention so long as we give a fuck and could sustain earth for ever. All the while have space travel not hap hazard and learn what sustainable life is in a close loop.

What's next is the problem, yes, there is not a single political figure able to put up a wholesome concept to replace capitalism. All we get is people telling us about doomsday and how they'll survive zombie apocalypse with water guns.
All we get is this never-ending cycle, stuck with capitalism and memes. So depressing.
But love still exists, and thoughts, and talks and arts, and...

I can't say metalhead really, I never went past the hard-rock box, the only metal refs I can have are really mild compared to the entire genre. I was more the psychedelic rock type back when such definition applied to me, that is, in the 90's. Today, I am not in a single defining musical genre, my identity is diverse :) - 1 mo

All the while they find no evidence on biden yet it's been televised with ukraine and the billion dollar ransom and hunter laptop for the big guy. See a pattern.
Next is total take over and hunt the normal people down to attempt brainwashing.
I don't recognize this country anymore. Land of the free? Not quite!30 Reply576 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Difficult to come up with a sincere response to your "capitalist society' question?
Maybe next would be a collapse into a socialist/communist state like much of Europe.
Never been to Europe, huh? You should go to Germany, London, Italy, or France and have a look. I did, and did not like much of what I saw there.

Just curious, what happens in 2028?
- 20 d
@DrPepper12 Hopefully there will be another president who will put America First.
- 18 d
Who is the legit heir to trumpism?
- 18 d
@DrPepper12 I think Trump picked JD Vance to be his successor but we will see in 4 years. Trump will have a lot of input who the next candidate will be. I like JD Vance but there are others that would also be good. Ron DeSantis would also be a good choice
- 16 d
Very bold of you to think Trump will last 4 years given his health...
- 15 d
@DrPepper12 Trump has lost weight and he looks better than he did 8 years ago. He puts in long hours and has dealt with a lot this year and is still kicking. People age at different rates and he is in much better shape than Biden was when he first won the election. Of course there is always the chance he could drop dead but I think he could go for another 4 years.
- 14 d
He's the laziest POTUS we ever had including Zachary Taylor and he was dead. More "Executive Time" is needed to watch Fox and hurl ketchup bottles against the wall like a petulant child
- 13 d
@DrPepper12 Biden had to call a lid at 4PM at the latest and had the most vacation time of any president on history. He is at the beach right now.
- 12 d
Uh huh...
- 12 d
@DrPepper12 you are welcome to find evidence to the contrary.

Breathing air, that smells good like in the malls, lounges or pharmacies - $18/month
What's the free $0/month plan? Breathing air, that smells like an outhouse or a barn

Even in America malls FREE MALL FRAGRANCE!
- 1 mo
@strateguy632 i have a suspicion they designed malls to be attractive and pleasing to our sensory perceptions, so customers would turn into repeated customers. I don't blame them. We're getting something out of it too, Even if we don't spend a euro or dollar

If Trump wins, and completes a lot of his lofty goals, we'll see a booming economy.
70 Reply These campaigns and their temporary terms are irrelevant. Changing the storefront mannequin essentially. Washington will continue its agenda of overthrowing other countries.

You left out a part.
We overthrow "leaders who kill kurds" like sadam hussein but never ever took iraq as American... in contrast to othrr cultures who you don't accuse. - 1 mo
Well that's like 1 of 100 countries we've overthrown, so yes, but there's a hell of a lot more on that list. I actually asked a question on this earlier today and tried to list a bunch of them but I missed a bunch. So my whole point though is permanent Washington keeps on doing its own agenda regardless of whatever fool is President, unless he interferes with the wars they're planning that is.
