For what its worth, I dont think its an issue of having bad intent. The whole field of political polling is so broken currently that you can't realistically get a good measurement. In other words, what you are witnessing is not some conspiring evil cabal but rather people flailing around in an industry that is falling apart around them.

Since the old methods of conducting a poll simply does not work anymore you can just disregard all political polls until they figure out a new way to conduct them which looks like its going to take a while.

That's how shit works. You go to a left leaning group to do a poll in left leaning areas and you'll get a slanted result. Same for the right. That's how it always works.
