I don't believe politicians should be expected to share medical records. They should be a private thing between them and the doctor. It feels like a cheap shot to drag health records into the public eye. Health issues should be raised and kept within the higher ranks of the party.

Republican or Democrat, a candidates physical and mental health should be revealed at the start of their campaign so primary voters can make an informed decision when choosing who should represent their party in the general election. Sadly I don't think Trump being diagnosed with beginning stages of dementia during sooner would have changed the outcome of the Republican primary.
