Of course it is. Like the Spanish Flu and Bubonic Plague. Large-scale pandemics have happened many times before and we can be reasonably certain that they will continue to happen in the future. Probably not for several more decades, though, as I would hope people are being a little more careful. But as soon as we get lax on health and safety again, yeah, there will be a new pandemic.

As in another contagious disease? Of course; that's nature. As in another inadvertent bioweapon? Probably; you'd be a fool to think that was the ONLY one being researched. As in another minor crisis that the media and politicians blow up into a world-ending one? Sadly, yes; very few people saw through any aspects of the Covid crisis and are STILL under the impressions that the world dodged a bullet, that sacrificing the economic future was worth saving no one, and that Covid is now gone.

No doubt about it. As we learnt with covid, people are stupid. Even with mandates to keep us safe and lockdowns, people were protesting them, refusing to mask up and acting crazy with conspiracy theories regarding the vaccine. And then getting confused when they’re hospitalised from being sick. At this point it’s natural selection. Let whatever next pandemic hits wipe ‘em out.

Mother Nature occasionally creates "challenges" for us human brings. That's been going on for millenia, and is going to continue. When will the next pandemic occur? No one knows... but it will happen.
