I have heard we are over it, yet they are coming out with a 5th booster shot. Joe and Jill got the virus just a couple of weeks ago. Joe got it twice!
Should we still wear masks and keep on social distancing?

Covid may never totally leave us but it is far less serious now than it was initially. The death rate associated with covid has drastically reduced and the percent of inpt beds occupied with covid cases is significantly reduced.

I would think that you should be masking and doing social distancing only if you are in a high risk group, meaning that you have significant co-morbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, renal insufficiency, etc.

I’m not saying this is the case as we are not given data one way or another, but if a lot of people developed vaccine dependent immunity due to the mrna shots then a lot of lives will depend on frequent vaccinations to defend against the latest variants.
