Of course. How do you think Trump is considered acceptable to some with his antics. It's because that's how low the bar is now. Trump is a protest vote. He's a brick thrown through the window that is the establishment. I don't think most people that vote for Trump even like him. But what other person that has the ability to get elected is going to cause this much havoc to the ordered establishment than Trump? No one! Because no one who'd run for office would be ok with half the country despising them like Trump.

Trump said it himself. He said, "I could shoot somebody in the middle of the street and I wouldn't lose a vote". Trump knows this. His narcissism makes him think they're voting for him. But they're voting his "f*** you" attitude.

It's what makes me laugh at our political system. All trumps power dissipates if our elected politicians just become better people and less corrupt.

Isn't that still the ideal representative of a capitalist society? Thats the feature not a bug. The American Dream is more or less gaining what ever capital as cheap as possible from some salesman. Our government is of the people by the people.
