He's muslim, so in some ways, he's trained and prepared all his life by reading his book the way he has... to defend his honour, to the point of death. Pride is a horrible emotion... it is in essence, selfish! It is the core emotion to Muslim thinking.

It may be his personality as well, for not all Muslims think that way, nor all of any religion are selfless people. The personality is what interprests what is written.

In a fit of jealous rage, whose roots none of us know in their relationship... it be easy to kill someone else. There is no love, no respect for them and I'd bet a lot of mammon that he has no regrets. That's why he admitted what he did.

He did not see her live as vaulable, he sees his honour as the only thing of merit.

Another angle would be drugs... if he took them, he wouldn't be thinking right. But I don't see that in this case, of what I know.

People who are highly controlling and who have low self-esteem are also likely to turn to drastic measures to keep the status quo in their relationships with SOs.

Men or women who are jealous are ALWAYS suspicious of friends and lovers
"cheating" on them with others. There IS no way to stop someone who is clearly a broken, damaged person, from acting out, except to never have a relationship with such a person in the first place.

Keep an eye out for controlling behavior. Someone who doesn't like any of your friends or family members and wants to isolate you from them. Someone who always wants you with them, and them alone. Someone who wants to dress you, tell you what to eat, where to be, how to do everything. Someone who wants to know where you go every minute of the day.

There are clear signs that add up over time. Run, run the other way, and have nothing to do with these kind of people as SOON as these dominoes begin to topple.

It’s often tempting, but at the same time, I often desire to understand the whys and the hows because lord knows we don’t want to get caught in the crosshairs of someone who could do this. Jealousy is a strong emotion that causes all kinds of grief, especially murders and murder/suicides. Restraining orders will not stop it in most instances. Unfortunately, people jump into relationships much too fast and miss all the red flags of a volatile personality. They only find out when it's too late.

Satan can have great influence on people who are into drugs, booze, and with sex. King David had someone's husband killed so he could get his beautiful wife.
