Due to the distance apart, will the war between Iran an Israel remain limited because neither has the capability of successfully invading the other?

An Iranian attack on Israel would have to go through Jordan and/r Syria. It's doubtful that either would give Iran permission to do that, for fear of Israeli retaliation. Missiles are more likely, like Iran launched against Israel last week.

Israel would never send ground troops to Iran. They would attack with planes and missiles.

No idea, the only thing I do know, is how intriguing does the map of the Middle East often look to my eyes because I rarely ever look at maps and I lived in my own continent which is a giant island.

At 10% of the population, Israel cannot successfully invade Iran. Iran's military is not advanced enough to successfully invade a more technically capable Israel.
