How does one qualify for early voting in the US?

Each state has their own rules. In mine, we have the earliest voting for citizens with a genuine excuse. Then two weeks before election day we have early voting for any citizens. I'll be there this Tuesday or Wednesday.

If your county is like mine, you can check with the County Clerks office or their website for info.

I think most counties would accept it if you said that you would be out of town on election day or during the "no excuse" early voting period, if your state has it.

You don't need to have a good reason for being out of town? It would make more sense if it was mandatory.

In my state, you can vote early by requesting a mail in ballot, which I did. This is the first time voting. I had to give my name, address, last four of ssn, valid driver’s license number and DOB. They mail me a ballot and I vote and mail back.

In Arizona, all we do if we want a ballot in the mail is ask by whatever the deadline is. There's no other actual requirement.

Don't know but my uncle wants me to vote. I'm against voting for this popularity contest! Both are the worst choices one is slightly less bad! But worse for feminists and women every where!
