Is it wrong to have kids with an Asian woman as a White man?

My girlfriend is Asian and I’m White. I would like to have kids with her one day but I have some concerns for what life would be like for our kids. Unfortunately, especially on the internet, people express some negative views towards people with this racial mixture. White people say if you mix white with Asian, the kids don’t look white at all and look nothing like the white parent. Asian people say the kids don’t look Asian at all and are whitewashed and have no Asian culture. So which is it? It makes me feel like society would give my future kids identity issues, and I’d be better off not mixing races.

Of course not- why would it be? Why would a child somehow be lesser because their culture was slightly different? They're YOUR child; who cares what ethnicity they resemble?

That is true, I would love my child no matter what they resemble. I just worry how society would perceive them, and if I would be setting them up for a difficult life they resent me for.

Everyone is mixed race to a degree, dumbass. No one is "pure bred" like you are being lead to believe.

I’m wondering you got with your girlfriend in the first place if this was your concern. If you’re that worried, are you going to break up with her?

It wasn’t my concern initially; I didn’t really think about our racial difference at all. But after a few years of dating and seriously considering marriage, I started to think about how our differences could potentially affect our future children. I’m not going to break up with her, though. I still love her. But I wouldn’t want to mess up my kid’s lives out of selfishness.

Well, that’s what I’m kind of trying to decide with this post. I’m probably just overthinking, though. I would love to have kids with her.

Of course not. There are many many children of Asian-Caucasian partnerships.
