Police aren't being constantly murdered; Israelis are- or were, now. Police almost never have to deal with multi-decade-long waves of suicide attacks; Israelis have.

Pretty much any cost to end Hamas IS justified, because the alternative is straight-up genocide. Seventy years of a soft approach made them unafraid; now Israel has to use the hardest of the hard. It's not good; it IS understandable.

Yes, it IS wrong to kill innocent people. It's also wrong to sit idly by and let them be killed. That's why Israel's going to war- because this way involves the LEAST death.

And they didn't "take over" anything; they were willingly given in, by the English, in a deal that the Palestinian people agreed to. Israel's "mistake" in the matter was trying to deal with people who will accept nothing less than their nation being destroyed and all its people killed.

What Israel's doing so is STILL gentler than what Palestine's been attempting for seventy years; your moral atrocities don't magically become less because you suck at them.

The point about women, and let's not forget children is not that they are more valuable... It's that they are more innocent. The chances are women and children have not harmed any Israeli

If you are not Jewish what is your rationale for supporting Israel? I don't understand how anyone neutral in the conflict... like me... could support the murderous Israel

And if 1000 people were killed it wasn't in a vacuum. It's but the same as for example California.
So it's understandable if in response Israel killed 1000 people
Or even 2000 people
