Is our history today accurate?

We don't know more than 5% or what happened in the past 4,000 years, and nada of what happened in the distant past.

So, check this out: if you look at these two walls made of polygonal masonry, you'll see some pretty cool similarities. The wall on top is from Turkey and dates back to the Hittites around 1500 BC. Then, the wall at the bottom is from Peru and is linked to the Incas around 1500 AD. Crazy, right? Even with a whole 3,000 years between them, the way those massive stones were shaped and fitted together is really similar. It makes you wonder if these structures actually belong to the civilizations we think they do. Maybe they were built by an even older, super- advanced civilization that had some serious engineering skills, which might've been passed down—or maybe just faded into history. Pretty fascinating stuff to think about!

In our modern era, we can't even wrap our minds around that stuff. If we don't have the technology to do something, we can't believe someone did it hundreds or thousands of years ago, especially without modern technology. We think we are the pinnacle of advancement.

We don't even have machines that can move stones the size of some of those. And how were those stones cut and fitted with such precision?

I read or saw something a while back about the possibility of some kind of chemical that may have made stone malleable so that, when set in place, the stones squished together and then hardened. Who knows.

I still tend to be skeptical of theories about aliens but I wouldn't doubt it, either.

The earliest modern humans, or Homo sapiens, are thought to have arrived in Europe between 44,000 and 42,000 years ago. However, recent discoveries suggest that they may have arrived as early as 54,000 years ago.

And, who knows, there may have been highly advanced hominids before homo sapiens that we haven't found evidence for. And there might have been some really advanced civilizations. When the ice age ended 11,000 years ago, flooding and other changes might have wiped out those hominids and made way for homo sapiens to populate and slowly advance, kind of like the way Europe was plunged into the Dark Ages after the fall of Rome. I'm just making shit up, but anything is possible. Just because we haven't discovered traces yet doesn't mean that it's impossible.

Desertification in Egypt began around 7,300 to 5,500 years ago, way before the first dynasty. There is evidence that the sphinx was there when Egypt was lush. That means that the sphinx and possibly the pyramids were there before the Egyptian dynasties arose in 3,150 BCE. If that is the case then who built them?

It's as accurate as artifacts and interpretation allow and always improving by reassessing in light of new evidence.

This was framed in the history department student resource center in my high school and it's tragically true.

I think academes want to suppress discoveries. Here's one. Dolni Vestonice was once a thriving camp inhabited during the Paleolithic period approximately 30,000 years ago. Today it is a prominent archaeological site located near the modern City of Brno in the Czech Republic.

The Biblical Jericho is said to be 13,000 years old. It took a lickin' and it's still tickin'.

Imagine how a advanced they would be if they had already discovered other ways of building things with metal and using machinery and electricity back then where we would be today, but all they had to use was stone at the time

If it was iron, gold still survives and copper but if they did build structures with iron and cement it probably wouldn’t have survived thousands of years like you said but there doesn’t seem to be any evidence of them having that technology at the time but imagine if they did?

I have heard several times that the Egyptians didn't build the pyramids, they just found them and claimed them as theirs. You also see pyramids all over the world, and there were not Egyptians in any of those places.

Wedges and levers are basic "machines". A screw is simply a lever or wedge wound around a stick, etc. This stuff speaks pretty much for itself. It's the political stuff that needs some work.

Well then, who had to skill or knowledge to do that? I don't think anyone could do that kind of stonework today. Just think, they would have to have been fitted before they were placed. With their weight and size, trial fitting would have been impossible.

It correlates with what you said about historians. They get paid for what they are told to say. That is why everything they say, like about dinosaurs, is always changing. As I said, "facts" about dinosaurs 30 years ago are proven wrong and they have a new set of facts today. For instance, they said dinosaurs lived millions of years before man. Yet they found fossilized dinosaur tracks and human footprints next to each other in the same fossilized rock face together. That shows man lived during dinosaurs.
