When doing the Apprentice the staff had INCREDIBLE PROBLEMS getting him to stay on task and just read the cue cards in front of him.

He hasn't answered a substantive question his entire life. Depositions were TORTURE - he would be asked the SAME question repeatedly and give no answer.

He affirms yes supports child care... doesn't say how and then goes into the finances and how that is much smaller cost than other factors. So he's thnking in terms of budget... which to me, is a good thing. He is a finance guy first and is thinking about that. Someone should be, not just giving blanket promises.

Firm and direct, no. He's not a politician and doesn't lie the way they do and he is as well a negotiator, so doesn't put his cards on the table to have them removed later. So I think he's communicating at a reasonable level. Tax code, I'd think he knows well, but may not understand this as well... why would he need child care...

Sufficient, well see. Last time around I got impression he went after every issue as a priority. Some bombed out.

Frankly, I don't know my opinion of this issue. Everything the govt does... is take $ from someone and give to someone else to level the playing field.

No I don’t, I’m a former Trump supporter for a number of reasons. He never seemed like the smart, genius, and amazing type when he ran in 2016…. Though I saw him more legible & more qualified than Hillary Clinton and told my family how amazing he was and friends too…. Sadly it took me a Presidency to learn the true man behind the ballot.

People are saying that he answered this question clearly. Nobody knew it, but childcare is very important. It may the most important issue in the history of the United States and he alone can take care of it, even though it contributes to the American Carnage, better than any other president, including Lincoln- because he is an expert and knows more about childcare than anyone else. Politicians rarely answer the question they are asked. They almost always change to a point they are trying to make, about their policy, about their opponent's weakness, etc.

That applies, to Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, and just about every other politician.

Everyone knows what his plans will be. Close the border, deport illegal aliens, become energy independent, bring back low energy prices, support law enforcement, get us out of foreign wars, make NATO allies pay what they agreed to , bring back manufacturing. All the stuff he did the first time. Also he plans to support a new health initiative and will reduce wasteful spending.

He is usually pretty straightforward about his policies. Not like some of the other candidates.
