How many reasons why you shouldn't have blind faith in "science" nor trust media quoting scientists?

1, did you notice science keeps making updates some minor some major?

2, new research all the time... do we stop? don't do research. we already know enough?

3, do you think research never finds anything new?

4, did you know einstein found mistakes in newton gravity ideas, and he changed the way to interpret gravity, in 1905, but we simpletons talk about gravitational "pull" a hundred years after that was refuted.

Admittedly einstein has some stuff that don't deserve blind faith either,

I noticed they seem to conflict known formulaea, but science changes and can change! Will change... or we could stop doing research. "Trust science" we have the answers? but we don't!

"All science is , is our best guess" based on limited data.

This is an accurate description and the reason to continue.

The fact " fascists deny science" does not mean that denying science is wrong... as above!

If something is real than anybody can see it and check. What other reasons not to trust science blindly?

Of course you should not have blind faith in science. Because science itself does not have blind faith in science. Having blind faith goes completely against science. Good science must always be skeptical and constantly question itself.

As far as media quoting "science", they almost never truly quote science. They sensationalize science and misreport on it just like they sensationalize and misreport on everything else. Media is a business, and their business is not science. Their business is making money and getting as many viewers and readers as possible. Their audience totally eats up "The Latest Study" stories.

Science isn't a set of beliefs, it's the practice of research n shit. Yknow, the stuff that leads to new beliefs when old ones turn out to be wrong or incomplete.

To trust science is to be willing to change your beliefs when science reveals new / better evidence. To deny science is to ignore evidence and cling to the same old beliefs no matter how much they become obviously wrong.
