Do you think it’s important to teach people to say no to bad opportunities?

My cousin has a childhood friend with stage 4 or 5 fatty liver disease cause his friend was rich and popular all his life and loved to drink alcohol at get togethers.

I heard about a poor guy that could not afford alcohol, and after he won the lottery, he drunk himself to death.

I’ve heard of people who became drug addicts or abusers or cheaters after they get rich, because when opportunities present themselves, they do not have the self-control to say no.

My parents were alcoholics. You could do anything to get them to stop. They only stopped when it finally killed them. It taught me to never drink but if you haven't lived in that kind of situation, I don't think you could ever really understand.

everything in life has an equal and opposite concequence and you can say anything in the world but at the end of the day even the people raised perfectly sometimes end up seemingly fools and ruining there lives
