oh yeah definitely. this is why i try to remove as much of my ego out of the equation of giving them my advice. so in that way i don't feel hurt when they do something thats bad for them against the advice i gave them. It's healthier that way lol. i try to just state it for them and let them decide if my advice is for them to take or not.

I try to make my advice effective, I like to open a hole of reality into what's wrong so they don't just shrug it off, It can come out a bit harsh at times but I think it's effective.

Unfortunately yes, a lot of people just want the attention they get from their bad situation. They don’t actually want the advises. Some people just hate other telling them anything to do, simple as an advise. I maded enemies, just by giving advise.

So Nop, right now I said okay, “I heard, is there anything I can do for you.” I don’t care if I’m indifferent.

Of course. Some people just will never listen. If they didn't come up with it, it's not valid.

Some people are immune to advice period, either out of arrogance or the mere fact that they can't be reasoned out of a position into which they were never reasoned.

Yes. They have to come around to it themselves. All you can do is have conversations that encourage thinking, and offer support.

Not quite. More like not capable or willing to believe like, you’re clearly in a toxic relationship and should leave. But it may take years of abuse for them to come around…

Yep. There are some profoundly dense people out there who couldn't make good choices if you tied their leg to one and dragged them down the street.

Totally! I call people who ask for good advice then never take it, "askholes". They are a nexus for good advice where good advice goes in and disappears never to be seen again.😆

Well I don't dispense advice unless it's asked for. Mainly because I know most people are askholes. Like on this site. The vast majority of women ask questions regarding their partners or guys they aspire to have as their partners. And 90% of these women already KNOW what she wants you to tell her. As long as you tell her what she wants to hear she's happy. If not she's either going to lash out at you or keep changing, keep altering the question, the situation until you do tell her what she wants to hear.
It's pointless advising people like this.🤣 stick to the people you CAN help. That's what I say.

Yes because feelings aren't rational. And people most of the time want what they want, not what's best for them. And this goes for both genders.

And sadly, many aren't even self aware of it at the least. Causing the inevitable suffering they'll experience to hurt far more/cause a greater perceived amount of chaos. And if they're a parent, for instance, they won't be the only ones suffering. The kids will suffer as well.
