Why are the media trying to convince us that people care about women’s basketball?

the WNBA lost $40 million last year. And that’s with the NBA subsidizing their operations. The salaries for the players are so low because nobody cares to watch it.

Network TV is so screwed up now that they need a decent revenue stream. Maybe the WNBA will work for them but somehow I think not.
