You missed the first part. Nobody hates white men. We would like them to take the blinders off and see the world for the first time through unprivileged eyes. It's hard to see barriers you don't face.

I've seen plenty from both sides. I've never had "the talk" with my sons about "driving while black" and I've pointed out to them that it was the tutoring we could afford that got you higher SAT grades and the top school admission.
