Most Americans haven’t studied Economics and therefore have no idea what they’re talking about, yet speak about it with the confidence of someone with a PhD.
The numbers that matter in a “strong economy” aren’t even the same numbers these people are talking about. The prices of groceries and the price of gas are a whole separate issue, and aren’t really that controllable by a president anyway.
Poor foundation in Economics, poor foundation in Civics. Motherfuckers out here talking about “Kamala has done nothing as VP!” OH MY GOD. Oh. My fucking. GOD.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Saying that out loud should be grounds for disenfranchisement, lmfao. I’m not sure I want you driving a car, to be honest, holy fucking SHIT, man.
This is honestly maddening, having such under-informed, over-opinionated people voting. Forget maddening, it’s FRIGHTENING. That’s literally my biggest worry. It’s not the government. It’s the ignorance, stupidity, and gullibility of the population of America in general. Someone wake me up from this nightmare😱😱😱
What we know is the jobs report met / exceeded expectations for the last 4 years only falling short in October of this year. That is impressive since it shows America rebounded from a global Pandemic that hit our shores. America can bounce back from anything that comes our way which makes me feel immensely proud of this country.
Economists predicted doom & gloom of a recession and we didn’t suffer one, which is a great sign of the economy too.
Price gouging was admitted by Kroger and pinky promised he’d lower the price of eggs IF a corporation merger was allowed by the Fed Govt (anti-competition, pro monopoly move). Hidden Costs & Junk Fees regulations & shrinking charges of Credit Card Fees have taken place in recent years to take on shady business practices that come at the cost of the American public which is simply not good enough and we need to fix the Housing Market & ensure shrinkflation / greedy business practices get punished !
Because people can't afford to eat or pay rent etc.
No use producing statistics to tell everyone how great the economy is doing when they can see it's not first hand. But this is the new political norm to pay to produce statistics and surveys to reinforce ideology and political opinions.
Yes, it's on me and other citizens for who we vote for that create these conditions
No they didn't. Theh tanked it. A country where no one can afford to live
Nope it's not. It's up to voters to hold crappy politicians accountable for their failures.
Because GDP means not much if only elites fill their pockets, while 99% have to lower their life quality

The news media has to portray it like that because whoever gets into office is going to take it that way they do it every 4 years they hold us back with everything that we do because they don't want the little people to get ahead to succeed because if we do if they can't find a way to keep their thumb on this they're afraid that we're going to take over and get pissed off one day and say enough is enough so the government wants to become our bank you know why so we can't get ahead so we can't have our money when we want it it's a big game
And then no matter what you see or read anyway you don't know if it's the truth or bullre-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
There is no manufacturing in America anymore. All the good middle class jobs have been outsourced to other countries. Young Americans can look forward to jobs delivering pizza or being an Uber driver. No wonder a good percentage of them will vote for President Trump.
Yeah... but what entitled kid wants to be blue collar?
I hope they do, but I can tell you this... even if manufacturing returns the youth of this country won't take the jobs. The trades have been suffering for years now trying to find qualified help... no one to take the jobs!
@Ariesman81 Unless you know somebody that can get you work in the public sector kids today have a pretty bleak outlook. My kids are recent college graduates and they all have good jobs but a lot of their friends are still working at the mall or at Papa Ginos 5 or 6 years out of college. They cannot afford to buy a house and most still live with their parents.
because stats and numbers can and have always been manipulated for political lies. but thanks for trying. We see the gas prices. the food prices. the fear and panic in the people every time there's even the slightest hiccup in supply chains. the desperation for tips to pay wages. the "shrinkflation" in products on our shelves. the political terrorists threatening violence if Trump is elected.
Everyone is on edge, and the truth is that they wouldn't be that way if their way of life/economy was "doing well". People's minds would be much more at ease.
gee... I don't know... maybe because there's homeless veterans on the streets, more people on welfare, skipping out on car insurance and no longer going to the movies? among higher prices in electricity, petrol, groceries being expensive as fuck
we don't need your stats when we're experiencing what's going on in our wallets
Right. 😂
.. I buy food and I noticed the prices.. ya know.. one of the things the government doesn't like to count for inflation because it is inconvenient for them 😉
My roommate also doubled his income and house prices more than doubled, effectively nullifying his efforts.
I bought a can of chili for five bucks. Later it will be $4.90, and MSNBC will say that Kamala lowered chili prices. Dumb people will believe it.
I talked to a moron that said that gas prices don't affect her, because she doesn't have a car. This is what and who we're dealing with. And they can vote.
Because MAGA says so and everyone knows they never lie...
Hatred won't solve anything
GDP is not reflective of the cost of living for the average American.
because that gdp is arms manufacturing for wars that we create and agree to. that is a falsified gdp anyway. we don't see anything from it but numbers on a graph
So... why do people think the economy isn't doing better?
Because we actually studied Macro Economics. Not MSNBCNNBCBSNPR.
I'm wealthier than I've ever been.
VOTE KAMALA!
Because housing, rent, gas prices and cost of good and services are still freaking high and the economy doesn't count in those factors so those numbers are misleading.
Probably because they’re paying $8 for a dozen eggs.
Yes, I saw your bullshit the last time you posted it. The average cost of a dozen eggs nation wide is not dispelled by one store having eggs on sale. Eggs were $1.20/dozen in 2020, now about $4. A 300% increase.
Because people can barely afford to survive
Because the price of gold is sky high, the dollar is dying and I'm making a fortune from the desperate re-state//background_color_rgba (0, 0, 0, 0), font_color_rgb (77, 77, 77), justifyLeft
People are comparing things to 5-8 years ago not the 1980s lol
Because people still have multiple jobs in can't afford anything
Because inflation sucks
More dollars chasing fewer products.
