Will Harris cause WWIII?

Harris is led by Warhawks who want to expand the wars in Ukraine, Israel and even a new war in Taiwan. She does not have the leadership to take the world through the tough geopolitical times in the next year.

NATO and Asia are gearing up for war. The US is reading itself. Two major wars have broken out in the past 2 years. Many say the WWIII can happen soon. What are your thoughts?

China is also antagonizing Japan. North Korea is also threatening South Korea.

Don’t lecture me on history, boyo. What people constantly seem to overlook, Chamberlain knew exactly what he was doing: Buying time. He knew that the United Kingdom was not ready for war, so he tried every conference and every treaty to take away Hitler‘s reasonings to start an armed conflict. Why do you think Nazi Germany had to fake this pathetic attack on the radio station Gleiwitz?

By the way, none of your doomsday scenarios have anything realistically to do with current times. There might be an armed conflict between China and the United States in the future, but certainly not in the next few years. Partially because China takes notice how mighty Russia is failing in Ukraine due to a democratic alliance supporting them.

Yes, ever since Russia has shown its complete dictatorial face in wanting to recreate the USSR (including the Baltics), all we can do is ramp up defense spending, infrastructure, troops and maneuvers. How and when they will make their move is anybody's guess.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Obviously the United Kingdom could not have fought a war without a large and trained army and enough equipment. Which they didn't have in 1933-1938.
And indeed, Poland might have to pay the price again if we fail to defend Ukraine. Poland and the Baltics would be next on the list.

I think they are making their move now. I think China has been encouraging Russia to attack. They also likely encouraged Iran to use their proxies to attack Israel or they simply encouraged Hamas as Iran says it didn’t know they were doing it. The benefit to China is that there are wars elsewhere and they are burning up the weapons, support and attention of the West. China likely helped get North Korea to agree to help Russia as these wars are not going to plan. China would then attack Taiwan last.

We don't know what happened behind closed doors, but I doubt that China would ever encourage Islamic extremists. Remember how much they suppress and torture their own Muslim minorities. And historically, Russia and China aren't exactly close allies. The CCP and the CPSU always viewed each other with suspicion. But no doubt that China as exporter profits the most from the current situation. And they will take notes of the death toll Russia is paying in Ukraine which will tell them what they are getting into for invading Taiwan.

Fair points. But they haven’t built up their military for no reason. They will use it I think and Taiwan will be the target or perhaps the first target. Taiwan has learned that with anti-ship missiles they stand a chance.

Oh, absolutely. I am sure an armed conflict with China is coming and Taiwan is the target. As soon as they have enough type 76 landing ships and experience with operating them, they might try.

It's up to all of us democratic countries to arm Taiwan to the point that they will achieve an even better response than Ukraine does against Russia.
