I can't speak for Indians or their presidents as I don't know anything about their mindset when it comes to politics. However, when I started seeing foreign presidents give speeches and interviews, it made me realize what simpletons American presidents are. I doubt Indians would vote for Kamala, but the Brazilian president was literally in jail for corruption and became president again. Trump always seemed like a one term president to me from the start. I feel most people would keep a low profile after that shitstorm and try to safe what little face I had left. The man has no shameful bone in his body. I feel so bad for his family. It really is crazy that Kamala and Trump are our only two choices.

One of my cousins went a few years ago. He stayed in Kerala, but then went to the north for a little bit. He said they're like two completely different worlds. Kerala was very pleasant, but the north was a hell hole.
Personally, from what I've seen, most tourists don't leave with a very good impression of India, though some do.
