Go ahead and look it up if you want to
Politicians are in it for life
Just looks what happens to country when politicians are in for life.
We are seeing a country die from it
Go ahead and look it up if you want to
It says one is a senior title for the same thing. Meaning they had less dirt in their closet so survived a bit longer?
Thank you for mho
I left some morse code in my profile. (Learning)
I can't read Morse code, but I can hear it
So I played it.
.. .-----..-.-..-.. -...-..-. -.-..-..---... ---.-- .--.-.-.-.---..--.-.-.-.-
If you look you have to many letters run together or you got some wrong
Some letters are up to 4 characters
Numbers are always 5
Periods, question mark and others are 6.
If your real serous about learning it.
Learn the sound, not the print
Because if you are learning by print. Its going to be to hard to get past 3 words per minute
I actually used a free online generator. 🤣
Thanks though. 👍🏻
One is a leader and one is a salesman.
I think you misread the question.
Please re-read it
I'll look it up, but my own over-simplified definitions are;
statesman - leader
politician - salesman
Britannica says;
statesman
/ˈsteɪtsmən/
noun
plural statesmen /-mən/ /ˈsteɪtsmən/
[count]
: a usually wise, skilled, and respected government leader
politician
/ˌpɑːləˈtɪʃən/
noun
plural politicians
[count]
: someone who is active in government usually as an elected official
Thank you for the MHO! It was unexpected. Was this the answer?
Close enough
Statesmen only serve a few years, do their thing and go back to their private life
Politicians are in it for life
I see. I never knew the real difference, I only had my perception to go on. Thanks!!! ❤

A politician gets elected -- that's their primary goal, after which they may govern. Their positions and ideal change.
A statesman may have to get elected, but their ideals remain consistent and they govern or work for the greater good of all, not necessarily just the majority who elected them.
I'd also say that a statesman tends to have a much larger, longer vision whereas a politician tends to see very close to between now and next election.
No sure. Is a statesman a respected senior person in government who in the past or present can or has weilded real power at the highest level both politically and in decisions in a country's national intrest foreign and domestic policies?
Not Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld but maybe Senator McCain or John Kerry.
“A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman, of the next generation.”
One gives a shit about progress, the other is congress.
A Statesman is what every politician should aspire to
I just thought it was an old term used for politicians at the time
Not exactly sure.
Please enlighten me
None, they are both full of shit.
