  Sad thing is... probably isn't. I've struggled to find logic in a lot of their actions. There just isn't any.

  In NY you need a permit to have a pet squirrel, and it's my understanding it was in the process of getting the permit. He's had the squirrel for 7 years, and had a permit for it when he lived in PA. What should have happened, they should have quarantined the squirrel till his permit was processed. Also note, the squirrel bit one of the agents/officers that was there to confiscate the squirrel, which you could argue wouldn't be unreasonable for a animal to bite a stranger trying to capture it. Further more, the squirrel was a rescue, it's mother died and he nursed it back to health, he tried releasing it multiple times, but the squirrel was unable to survive on it's own.

  I can understand permitting exotic animals... but a fucking squirrel? I'm a hunter and am absolutely appalled by their behavior! And I'm seeing more and more of this permitting to even have domestic pets... it's crazy!

  @Ariesman81 seriously, makes no sense. someone is gonna lose their job... maybe many should. I'm amazed the owner took this as well as he did. Their action is maybe following the letter of law, but totally uncalled for.

Yes, I'd be surprised if P'nuts death was the one thing that cost the Dems the election. If they lose, it will be for lots of other reasons. May P'nut rest in peace.

Kamala’s dreams were derailed by a trigger-happy animal control officer who probably had a big argument with his wife that morning and a governor who flat out refused to grant clemency for the squirrel that was clearly acting in self defense.
