You just need to find the right social group. Yeah, we're an antisocial culture, but there are countless people that feel differently, so you just have to find them. I'm not wasting time watching that video, but the premise is utterly ignorant. There are 400million people in the US. It is 3.7 million square miles. The country insanely diverse in geography and population. There's zero excuse to not have a social life.

The lack of a third place that’s open to the public doesn’t really extend beyond a library, so you have to make one. You’ll have to make an effort to make friends, which you would be doing if you moved countries anyway

I never lives anywhere else so I do not know. I do know that people are pretty much the same no matter where you go and if you find it hard to relate to others where you live now, chnces are a change of scenery will not help much.
