Hopefully, the economy will improve and the housing shortage will be fixed. I'm really hoping that maybe he can see that foreign buyers (I'm not talking about illegal immigrants) and corporations buying all the single family homes is hurting young families. I'd love to see a policy that prioritizes US citizens buying housing and sets some limitations on foreigners buying residential real estate until the US housing needs have been met.
I'm hopeful that wages will increase.
I'm hopeful that we can settle both of the conflicts in both Ukraine and Israel diplomatically. Trump did broker three peace treaties in the middle East during his previous presidency, the first in thirty years.
If Kamala had been elected, I would have been hopeful that student loan policy would have been addressed and college education made more obtainable for the underprivileged.
I would have been hopeful that some balance would have been added to the post-Roe v Wade policies. Trump sent it back to the states, but there are some issues with how it's affects medical practice that she would have likely prioritized. Doctors are undertreating and avoiding pregnancy complication treatments for fear they will be accused of abortion. That could (has) directly affect (ed) wives and mothers who need a D&C post-miscarriage.

Very well reasoned take. I appreciate it.
On the housing and the international Wars I agree completely. Well said.
For the student loans, I think she would have just continued what Biden was trying to do, which is have the American taxpayer pay for the college students. I consider that a wealth transfer from the poor to the rich so I don't support it. But I would like to fix what Bush did and make it so that student loans are part of bankruptcy.
Also, I have heard of people afraid that doctors will not perform needed D&C post miscarriage surgeries, but I haven't heard of any actual instances of that. I might have missed them - 1 mo
@Grond21 Thanks. I know some may see me as being a compromiser, but I really try hard to see both perspectives and think about how the needs of both sides can be met. It's not an easy position to be in these days.
Glad you agree! :)
I'm not sure what you mean by the wealth transfer from poor to rich on the college aspect; I'd love clarification since I haven't heard that angle yet. At the moment, American taxpayers pay K-12 for education, and while a high school degree may have allowed more opportunities fifty years ago, that's not the case anymore due to the exorbitant cost of higher education, even at supposedly public universities. Our generation is becoming increasingly unable to work their way through college, particularly with the unaffordable housing thrown into the mix. Trump's policies lean toward pulling oneself up by the bootstraps, which I appreciate. But there's a balance, and at the very least I think some student loan forgiveness would have been helpful. I do not have student loans, but I'm looking at my kids going to college down the road, and I won't be able to afford to send them to pursue a career in nursing, engineering, science, teaching, etc if the cost of college remains the same. I don't have half a million dollars or more laying around to pay for a basic bachelor's degree for three kids. I don't know what the answer is, but I think it may have been a higher priority for Harris than Trump.
I'll add a couple of news stories on the abortion part; unfortunately they aren't conservative sources because they don't tend to cover those. :( I am prolife, but I think these are good examples of bad legislation and lack of clarity on certain prolife areas that we could improve on.

I don't expect to agree on everything, but I'm glad we can have a civil conversation about it! :D - 1 mo
This is a market based economy. Welfare and handouts have allowed colleges to to circumvent the process thus allowing them to set whatever price someone is willing to pay. Unfortunately we're in a situation where the only way to get pricing down is to stop buying the product. No demand... no value, and colleges will be forced to lower prices if they want the doors to remain open. But that would cause discomfort. And people genuinely wish to avoid discomfort. But the current college degrees have shown to be worthless anyway... of course not all... but the majority. There just isn't any value in college anymore. And unfortunately we need to suffer in order to bring things back in alignment.
- 1 mo
@Ariesman81 Right. It's interesting that college essentially blocks people from choosing career paths that they might otherwise pursue... in the market-based economy. If a person loves kids and wants to be a school teacher, they may be effectively prevented from pursuing that field, even if they have the inclination and intelligence to do so, by the cost of both college and housing. Education has billions of dollars being poured into it, and for *some reason*, it's becoming more prohibitively expensive by the decade for students. I agree that college is a racket, but without it, a lot of people can't improve their economic class. College would be greatly improved by eliminating courses unrelated to the field of study to save both time and money.
I heard from a financial manager that the job market boils down to five areas: Healthcare, Technology, Finance, Education, and I can never remember the last one. Because of technology, students must now compete on a global scale in order to have the lifestyle of previous generations. It's becoming more essential to have a degree if a person is going to be competitive in the five global markets. Otherwise, the only real option is to become a tradesman or an entrepreneur in order to make ends meet. I don't mean that negatively, I am simply saying that the trades are more accessible.
If people are still going to attend college instead of boycotting it, which is the most probable trajectory, how can we fix this problem of teaching, finance, tech and med jobs being unattainable without it? How can we help the next generation in fiscally sustainable ways? - 1 mo
You answered your own question. The trades are the only market that doesn't require a subsidy. Therefore it is the only valuable market. And if manufacturing returns to U. S. due to Trump's planned tariffs... it will skyrocket even more.
- 1 mo
And yeah... totally agree... stop making English teachers take chem 101. But why would a college do that if their subsidized and the money is guaranteed?
- 1 mo
The wealth transfer I talked about is because a significant chunk of the least wealthy in our society do not go to college, but all of the wealthiest people go to college. If the federal government is forgiving loans, they are using the tax dollars from the poorest people to pay for the further increase in stratification of the rich.
The inflated price of education is a serious issue, but to have the federal government involved in forgiving loans would only exacerbate it. Particularly because they are the source of the problem in the first place. By guaranteeing funds for a great many universities they have set up a feedback loop where they can dictate policy to the university if the university wants to keep the money, but by having guaranteed money they can spend it on many frivolous things. This is why the administrative parts of most universities have increased by over 600% in the last few decades. This is where most of the cost is, and it's backed by federal money. Putting more Federal money in the mix would just make it worse.
As for the pro-life issue, that seems pretty simple to me. If the woman was in danger provide her with medical care, to do otherwise is already illegal. If she's not in danger then don't. She was very worried, so she could be monitored. But until there is some actual issue with her health there's nothing they can do. And that's as it should be

Trump didn’t just win; he won by a landslide. Republicans secured the Senate and are on track to claim the House. Trump made substantial gains with Hispanic voters and saw significant improvements among Black voters, hinting at a complete shift in the political landscape. Many Americans are fatigued by what they view as a disconnected, elitist stance from the Democratic Party. There’s a perception that Democrats are out of touch, especially on issues like border policy, where they appear removed from the real-life impacts. People are weary of virtue signaling, race-focused rhetoric, and overly scripted politicians. When they irrationally compare Trump to Hitler, they just lose so much credibility. It's such a ridiculous claim. Despite attempts to paint Trump as racist, minority groups turned out for him in large numbers, suggesting skepticism toward these claims. It's a big middle finger to the left from the minorities.
While I share some views with the Democratic Party and admire how these ideas work in European countries like Denmark, the approach of Democrats here feels off. Figures like Kamala Harris seem scripted, whereas Trump’s unfiltered style comes across as a refreshing change. There's a business theory known as the "cow path," which describes how people often stick to old routines instead of exploring new, efficient paths. Trump’s controversial nature enables him to cut through bureaucratic red tape in a way that feels effective. I believe this election is a clear message from Americans, and I’m hopeful it will lead to a stronger, more promising direction for our country.
I'm American by the way.00 Reply

I expect inclusiveness to be gotten rid of since it's nothing more than a ridiculous idea from a group of people who are a minority. And I'm not referring to the color of your skin. I'm referring to the idea of men pretending to be women so they can be on a swim team for the real women.
I expect Trump to overturn biden's policy protecting inclusiveness and protecting those who have little significance on anything, but their own opinions of how more than two genders is a possibility 😆
America will be normal for 4 years and I'm happy for that and you can hate me all you want but at least I'm being honest and not trying to hide it with with beautiful and understanding words like Harris is doing.
I believe in straightforward conversations, not conversations that take 30 minutes to explain something. So simple as I was wrong. No Democrat has ever taken less than 20 minutes to apologize 😆
And while I do respect everybody's opinions and thoughts, I do like giving my honest opinion on my ideas and how things are going. I'm not going to lie to you like most people would
With their bad-mouthing individuals I'm not bad-mouthing. I'm just giving my thought out opinion about the situation and hopefully Trump will do something without all the Democrats interrupting his term with ignorance.00 Reply

We know what will happen from his former buddies and members of his old team. Members who he still meets with and attends functions with. He can deny it all he wants but there is absolutely evidence out there that he's still in connection with them. It's called project 2025 and keep a sharpie out because you're gonna be scratching off all the stuff that falls into place as it happens.
Well, for the "male loneliness epidemic" boys out there that think all women are now magically gonna just submit and it's gonna be 1950s again. That there was a gender war before, it's only gonna get worse for you. You think we were all divided before?
Ironically, the group of people that conservatives like to go after most, besides people who aren't white, are the lgbtq community. It's ironic because a lot of these guys are gonna probably need to switch teams at this point if they want future companionship lol.
It doesn't get better from here. Just more divided day by day by day. Save this thread. Mark it and come back in a year, then 2 years, then 3 years, then 4. Then tell me honestly that I was wrong lol.
When you have leaders that spread hate on a daily basis on tv or social media, it grows amongst society as well. Our country is about to become more violent in the next 4 years.
Basically... at best, nothing will be accomplished and none of his promises happen at all and he'll be a lame duck president. At worst it's gonna be a Trainwreck. If I had to bet, a bit of both.
We'll see.

When my way of seeing things is treating people as equals and not treating an entire gender as being beneath me or taking away their reproductive rights and even going after things like contraception and ivf.
When my way of things isn't being anti lgbtq just because they live life differently than me (they don't by the way because I'm part of that community)
So yeah I'd say it's not my perspective that needs changing. My perspective isn't going after women and minorities. - 1 mo
@mandyfire98 "boys out there that think all women are now magically gonna just submit and it's gonna be 1950s again"
Very well said. Trumptards need to know that, despite what they think, their opponents are not weaklings who'll just bend over and take it. I wish that more women would have told them to fuck off at the polls yesterday. You need to go on fighting this shit.
To trumptards I say :
If your aim is to keep living in a democracy, fine. It's going to be 4 rough and depressing years of whining, political instability, dumb statements and inefficient policies. But just try to impose your fucking christofascist dictatorship, you pieces of shit. See what you get. - 1 mo
To a degree I get that there are people solely voting on financial reasons for but its not everyone. A lot Of people did vote because they hate the lgbtq community and want something done about it. There are others who absolutely voted because of Trump and Vance's past views on women and think that women's rights will further be removed under them.

The next 4 years will be a bumpy ride for women and LGBTQ+ Trump will embolden conservatives to act upon their hateful views on LGBTQ+ people and try to bring women’s rights back to the 1950’s or maybe the 1850’s

Yeah he's a great pick for that and will make regulations much tighter. You want someone highly critical in that role for strict health regulation. If he can reform the health bodies as he suggested it will increase trust in vaccines and make the food healthier. People like me became antivax due to distrust after they let a blatently unsafe vaccine on the market. If that body is critical again i'd no longer be antivax due to distrust but go back to my judge each individual vaccine position.

@Arwen06 I'm not American so I do not watch their politics, and I want to know the truth of what's going on. Somebody's talking points say the following which contradicts everything you listed:
millions of criminals regardless of their ethnicity, to be returned to the safe and free country they came from. Nobody is even thinking of forcing Afghans to return to the graveyard biden caused.
Lower carbon emissions under trump because all you need will be produced locally, and will save $ as well on transport fuel.
With these new manufacturing jobs created people will be less sedentary, so healthier, and reduce the need for healthcare in the first place.
Giving power to the states over abortion laws is the most freeing decision there could be, both sides have a place in the country and those wanting abortion can just go to a neighboring liberal state.
Go buy fluoride if you really need it that badly. Spread toothpaste on food.
During 2020 trump was pro vaccine very clearly. Still there are more vaccines than just the one for covid and some of them are not protested against by absolutely no one.
East world conflicts didn't happen under trump's rule, he could have destroyed Palestine and ukraine a long time if he wanted to.
Your last 3 points are just synonyms repeated. Trump wants American law abiding citizens to own guns, whereas Hitler did not. Here is what hitler said: "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subjugated races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subjugated races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police." - 1 mo

Trump never said a word about any ethnicity. He wants to purge the crime-committing illegal unidentified invaders. If you associate this description with a race, then you are racist.
Speaking of drugs in the water, how the hell do you want to measure the dosage? All drugs, supplementary dietary chemicals especially that don't occur in nature, are easily poisonous at doses just slightly higher than recommended. When you rely on water to supply it, one person might end up receiving hundreds of times more than his neighbor. How smart is that? Just take your damn fluo pills!
I sure as hell have no difficulty accepting that this person makes a better health minister:

@Arwen06 first of all, let's have a laugh at the irony. Nazi concentration camps were the first places to ever make humans drink fluoridated water. But chill, nobody wants to hurt you.
Your linked article doesn't debunk anything, and if you read the part about what the "experts" say there, you'd notice very strange language, as if proving that fluoride is good for you and recommending it are two drastically different things.
- 1 mo
Here is one cnn article saying fluoride is neurotoxic:
www.cnn.com/.../index.html
I used google and opened a link that leads to articles with citations to many scientific studies.
Quote another study https://ehp.niehs.nih.gov/doi/10.1289/ehp655
According to Connett, the science was conclusively resolved in 2017, when the first of
the National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS)-funded studies came
out. This study, the so-called Bashash study, confirmed what many previous
investigations had shown.
"It was a very striking study," Connett says. "It was a very, very good study. It had
to be, to get NIEHS funding. It was based on individual measurements of
exposure in pregnant women, and individual measurements of outcome.
They measured the fluoride levels in their urine, three times, once in each
trimester. Urine level is a very good measure because it gives you a measure of
total exposure, whether it comes from toothpaste, water or food.
They found a strong association between the pregnant woman's exposure to
fluoride and lowered IQ in children, and they'd taken care of dozens of
confounding variables. It was four to five IQ points for a 1-milligram per liter
increase of fluoride.
In fact, the range for that four to five IQ point lowering was the same range that
you get for pregnant women in the United States in terms of fluoride levels. So,
that was the most striking thing. The average level in their urine was 0.87 parts
per milligram (i. e., 0.87 milligrams per liter)."
A long list of older studies raised the concerns, obviously we had many anti-fluorers long before 2017. I doubt you'd read them if I link anyway. - 1 mo
Yes, it is. But due to the number of wild goose chases I've been sent on by people telling me to google something that doesn't exist or is their own flawed interpretation of something that happened (which I couldn't find since it's their flawed interpretation), I'm not going to risk wasting my time.
For example, I would not have assumed the link you cited is what you are talking about, because Trump doesn't say it's a policy idea of his, it states he hasn't ruled it out. Which is very non-committal verbiage. Like, Trump also hasn't ruled out drilling from one side of the earth to the other because he's never even mentioned the topic.
This link does not state that "one of Trump's policy ideas is to get RFK to ban vaccines." According to this link, someone asked him and he said "I'm going to talk to Kennedy and make a decision" as opposed to "I'm been contemplating on banning vaccines", which also not-so-coincidentally foregoes that it's only specific or particular vaccines that could be considered.
And if you're like "omg that's so bad that some vaccines might be considered to be banned!" then I'll point you to the Rotavirus Vaccine incident, where it was was withdrawn from the market after it was found to be associated with an increased risk of a serious bowel condition called intussusception (a form of intestinal obstruction) in infants. - 1 mo
Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotavirus_vaccine
Or even the Swine Flu Guillain-Barre Syndrome incident, where a swine flu outbreak in 1976 led to a mass vaccination campaign in the United States. The vaccine used was associated with an increase in cases of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a rare neurological disorder where the immune system attacks the peripheral nerves, leading to paralysis.
Link for the incident: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/463869/
Link for the condition: www.mayoclinic.org/.../syc-20362793
Yes, you read correctly, this vaccine literally paralyzed people. So I hope that any reasonable person or world leader would be at least open to the idea that some vaccines may need to be banned. And from what I've read from your link, that's all Trump has said. He's open to the idea.
So I suppose if you were ever president we could count on you letting people be paralyzed. Thank goodness you aren't. - 1 mo

Correction, I didn't mean "he". The Supreme Court decided that. He supported and applauded that initiative, however.

@ForevrLonely29 beautiful story :)
- 1 mo
@Shamalien Thank you. It was a long battle of depression and loneliness, but the Lord has really blessed me.
- 1 mo
@ForevrLonely29 Congratulations then, hope it all works out for you. Sorry we couldn’t come to an agreement. I have no ill will against the American people, like I’ve told others previously, if you support Trump then go ahead and do so.
Just because I don’t like him or his policies doesn’t mean that should change how you personally feel about it. It would be counterproductive to try to change the minds of others who already are for Trump, it’s just my opinion at the end of the day, up to interpretation or even criticism if need be. - 1 mo
Thank you. I hope you know I am not against women. I just told my mom moments ago how much I appreciate her. I also love my fiance and treat her well. I tell my fiance all the time that she is my queen.

If Trump can stop that, I would already consider it a Big Thing!..

They have Got a Patriot Leader to Rally it with!..

I expect that...
- most of his ideas won't work out as promised
- the news will be full again with his antics
- ''America'' in 4 years won't be any greater than today
- an increase of school shootings and such; add public unrest with 'racial' motivations
- numerous relatives of him again entering the scene
- an immediate ''inquisition'' in January
- a new helicopter pad in Florida
- a few new golf resorts across the globe
- Mexicans now heading for Chile or Argentina
... and in addition:
at least we all on the outside are now prepared for his shit - and will (again) continue to live our non-American lives as before.

I am a us southern born citizen i love it here, I know hot take. But I don't have expectations. I'm thankful we been able to come together to share thoughts and opinions and share beliefs in ways not many countries get to. Since I'm a minority, not white, not from a high wealth family, I abide by the law like my parents taught me and simply will do what I can to not be killed or racially stereotyped, i was not born white or a race that has similar genetics to white complexion, I do these things so i too can get to have a chance at becoming a husband with a wife that gets to live in a home in america yknow the basic American dream. That is all I can say. With much love for america. I expect a moderate economic growth, but I will expect repatriation jobs from China and a more secure border. I expect inflation to stabilize bit remainostly the same however wages will start to catch up and equalize the gap. I expect the insane leftists to riot and cause a lot of nightmarish shit for about 6 months.
I expect we will gain energy and manufacturing independence so the next time something like covid hits we will have the capacity to care for ourselves instead of begging for China to make our medicine.
And finally I expect DEI and identy politics bullshit to finally fucking die.20 Reply - 1 mo

Perspective: French citizen, my opinions are far-left, where I live the political philosophy used is Social Market economy.
So what I can see overseas is the complete opposite of my opinions, more free market policies is going backward for me as well. However I understand that, historically, free market and absolute freedom is philosophically foundational for USA. And that is also where I see huge contradictions, I don't get how the societally ultra-conservative setup of Trump can work with the concept of social freedom. So there is economic freedom praised but social freedom denied, this deal is incomprehensible to me.
But none of the social rights matter as much as a certain global event, it's getting warmer and warmer, Mr Trump & friends do not give a shit about this, purposefully, so... Obviously, the consequences of recklessness are not just US based, we're all in this shit together.

Although I did not vote for him and think he is a despicable person I am hoping he is able to get the border under control, I very much don't think he will be very successful sending all that many illegals back until they are caught in some illegal act of some kind. Even though he is a proven grand liar, he as said that abortion, social security, health care are off his bucket list I hope he actually is telling the truth. I am looking forward to watching him tangle with Chin, N Korea, Russia and the Israel problem. At the very least I wish him good health during his last shot at King as I think that Mr Vance would be much worse and so under experienced, based only on his bible thumping.

Not very much to be frank, its not really possible for the modern presidency to control the too large to be managed executive branch much less the goverment or the country anymore.
They all mostly do the same thing because they are all mostly in the same uselessly captive to the same FTE's controlling their information and undermining any effort they don't agree with. All almost entirely too far removed from them to ever be seen much less held accountable.
So until he gets rid of most all of them and downsizes the goverment nobody will really control it. This limits presidents to basically being bully-pulpits and thinking the few options they have are real choices.00 Reply - Anonymous(18-24)1 mo
Exactly what he said, because last time he did exactly what he said, and it worked out great for Americans.
The minute Biden got in and reversed his policies, the country fell apart. Houses jumped from $150,000 to $400,000. Rent jumped from $1,400 to $4,000. Gas jumped from $2.30 to over $7. Wages dropped to almost nothing. Health insurance disappeared. Groceries more than tripled in price. Our peaceful relationship with the world turned into war everywhere. Trump will turn that all around again.40 Reply 16.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It looks like not only a Trump win but also a Republican majority in both the Senate and the House. The Supreme Court also has a conservative majority. I expect that he will be able to implement a lot of his pro America agenda. The border will be secured, America will again be energy independent if nor energy dominant and America will begin a healing process.

Epic embarrassment. Complete failure. Absolute corruption and full disregard for the constitution of the United States. And some.
Only this time his "voters" knew what they were voting for. The few legitimate ballots at any rate. Not the mormons and the like (as last time) listed as living in multi states and thus voting multi times or those threatened, brainwashed and or too stupid to think for themselves.
Great job America. The rest of the world heats up popcorn, sits back, and watches the fallout round number two.
America really is overflowing with of half wits. Proof positive today.
20 Reply 2.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Ill believe it on January 6, I think the most realistic thing would be to expect another term like his first. So relatively run of the mill president, good economy, hopefully prevents war escalation or manages to end wars. Now if he keeps his promises it would be an end of multiple wars, more businesses in america, healthier food, shrunken government and secure borders.

As a citizen I am extremely disappointed in my fellow Americans. We have way too many people that really believe he's a good man, not a rapist and not convicted on 34 felony counts. I feel very upset for women, minorities and immigrants seeking asylum here. It's a complete embarrassment and I expect he will use more divisive language and go after his political opponents. I also think we as citizens need to be concerned because the ones that disagree with him are the enemy from within. I'm hoping that doesn't mean violence against citizens because he doesn't like them
10 Reply 1.4K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Lower prices for fuel, food, homes, and other goods. Lower interest rates. Less crime after deporting millions of illegal criminals. Men won't be in women's sports. Less drugs. A peace deal where Russia keeps the land it gained from Ukraine, but the remaining part of Ukraine gets to be in NATO to prevent future wars. (No more funding for Ukraine so they will have to agree to the deal or be defenseless.)
20 Reply- Anonymous(30-35)1 mo
A further reduction in rights and freedoms, such as freedom of the press, freedom of religion (excluding Christianity), and freedom of peaceful protest. Aide to Ukraine ending, handing over the nation to his buddy Putin, allowing Russia to recover and expand to make greater power grabs later. Further tax cuts for the most wealthy. Fewer opportunities and social services for the most poor. Rampant racial profiling and discrimination. Open government corruption. A severe drop in trust from our allies, causing a lack of cohesion that will benefit China, Russia, and others as they increase their influence on the global stage. Probably more assassination attempts, which regardless of their success or failure will probably make our social and political situation in America worse.
Also a slight increase to funding for space exploration and research, which could actually be a good thing, if we're lucky.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Trump is going to have the house, the senate, and two-thirds of the supreme court. PLUS, he's going to have a J. D. Vance, Elon Musk, Tulsi Gabbard, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Vivek Ramaswamy backing him up. Smart, competent people who are committed to his cause.
This is the best chance Trump could hope for to accomplish what he wants to accomplish.

He will weaponize Law Enforcement agencies on the Federal level to prosecute and destroy his enemies list.

31 Reply 2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Nothing much. Like last time. He will pretend he's got rid of all Mexicans yet you still see them somehow. He'll pretend to send them packing but bring them all back.
He'll pretend inflation is lower yet he has not any real control over that. And you'll see food to whatever else just as expensive and more so.
And people will still defend that he is changing things. When nothing will change. Just watch in 4 years will America be solved? No. If anything it will be worse lol.
10 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. He will stop inflation, illegal immigration and harden American military as economic primacy around the world. XD
I'm just kidding, he won't do anything above. He will spend billions for Israel, will spend billions to defend Blackrock and Co. assets in Ukraine and will try to increase escalation with China and Iran. Immigration is necessary for wage dumping in US and inflation the only way to get rid of trillions of US debt obligations

- So it's not just Trump and his little minions, just how Muricans behave. Understand why Trump won now. Thanks for that. - 1 mo
That quote does not state or suggest "hatred is an American thing" nor "Americans thrive on hatred and violence." It does however point out that your have a very clear blind-spot wherein your criticism for one side is not-so-coincidentally absent when those same actions are performed by people you deem 'allies.'
So to be entirely blunt, no, I am not "saying" what you suggest I'm saying, I'm making a statement you don't like, and in some peculiar form of desperation you're attempting to make a willfully faulty inference based on statements that do not exist. I did mention that in addition to hatred on one side there is hatred on the other side, but no cognitively sound adult would then suggest "oh well then that must mean that everyone on each side is hateful" let alone "they must thrive on violence!"
If you'd like to make a point, feel free to do so, but let's not act like children and pretend like your opposition is so dumb that they made an assertion that validates your stance when that assertion is indisputably not present. - 1 mo

@crmoore I just opened up my "blind-side" - it's not just a republican thing, but an American thing. Maybe not all but many - perhaps most. People are losing friends and family for fuck sake because of it.
So thank you for opening up my blind side tbi. It's simply most of you. Just so you can't cry more. - 1 mo
