Is divorce good for American families?

It's good for almost everyone who goes through it, including the children. Yes, some people divorce for rather trivial reasons, but most who divorce have very good reason to leave the marriage. It's not good for children to be raised in a home where there is constant strife.

yin and yang. generally, it is painful and costly. traumatic to the children depending upon age and maturity.

but result can be better for all if done well and fortunate, people work together and partners find better partners.

Divorce is good for some families, and bad for others. Some families are not married, so divorce is not even an option.

I think it can be good for the spouse, but if they have kids, I don't think it's good for the kids. Kids need a mother and a father
