Every generation adapts to the technology of their time. Old folk could turn a lawnmower and can't work and iphone so user friendly toddlers know how to work them.

One hand lawnmower on the other hand the power of human collective knowledge in your pocket. With videos to turn the lawnmower and several troubling tutorials.

Now giving a fuck about mowing a lawn in the first place is a completely different topic. Now if we want to talk revolutionary talk this is the prime example of the build up pressure that creats revolutionary times.

So if the older generation had fuck you money they would spend money for someone else to mowing the law right. Realistically they were closer to being in a soup kitchen line or at least scard of it.

In our modern day we can't not afford this star trek devices that 50 years ago Hollywood couldn't even dream of. From there we are not scard to lose everything beyond that point. To be a functioning member of society you need to be so comfortable.

So we probably won't starve yet we still don't have fuck you money while the rich get richer. Our time isn't just eaten away from just surviving but not capable of much else then revolutionary actions.

to be honest, our generation is probably not gonna be able to start a lawnmower soon. all electric run with software connected to the cloud. if you didn't pay your monthly lawn mower subscription with the grass collecting DLC, you won't be able to do shit xD

I was born around the time that mowers with engines were becoming the norm. Before that. You were the power unit!
I can not only start them. I can even repair them! But, I know of people my age that probably can’t even put fuel in them! Hence the new and improved fuel safety cans? Because they tried to fuel when hot.

My generation was able to grow plants we actually WANT, rather than ones we feed, water, fertilize, and then refrain from harvesting in order to cut down and throw away.

In general yeah. It depends on what level of disrepair it is in. I can fix most stuff on small engines, but the bigger the lawn mower the more trouble shooting it requires sometimes.
