Would you let someone mow your lawn with an battery mower or does it have to be a gas mower?

I HAVE a battery mower and it's a pain in the ass!! It works great but, according to the instructions, it only takes 20:00 to charge the battery and it runs for at least 20:00. BULLSHIT!! From day 1, it took 80:00 to charge the fucker and it only runs for 15:00 to 20:00!! Now it runs 10:00 to 15:00 and I only just bought the fucker last summer!! I have a small yard. If I had a gas mower, I could cut the entire yard in about 90:00 but, with this thing, it takes ALL FUCKING DAY!! Cut 20:00, charge the first battery. Cut another 20:00, wait an hour for the first battery to charge! Cut 20:00, wait another hour for the 2nd battery to charge. So far, the area I've cut could park 2 cars. It takes 7 batteries to cut everything.

I would use gas but I Feel gas is a lot of maintenance and much harder to start.. And with gas even if you get the right type of gas for it it could still be bad gas and not start your mower.

I would've rather had gas but, I just couldn't afford one. We've always had a gas mower and there was hardly any maintenance on it at all. Just scrape out the grass from the under side every once in a while. Once, maybe twice a year. At the end of the season, the rest of the gas in it has to be "burned" off (when you're done with the last use, just leave it running `til the gas runs out).
As for starting it, I think the modern mowers don't need a pull rope. Press a couple buttons and it starts right up.

The 40V Ryobi push mowers actually work pretty good for laws that are roughly a 1/4 acre or so. For large plots of land you really need a zero turn mower with a large deck or a tractor. I know Ryobi makes an electric zero turn , but I never used it so I'm not sure how it compares to something like a toro.

That's the mower I just bought. And mowed the grass with it. The Ryobi did a good job.

I don't have a lawn myself, but if I did, I’d definitely be on board with using a battery mower. They’re generally quieter, more environmentally friendly, and easier to maintain than gas mowers. Plus, I love anything that goes hand in hand with sustainability! 🌿

I have a big lawn and use a rider but if there was a good battery powered rider I would check it out. I have an electric chainsaw and really like it.

Gas powered lawn mower. I haven't gotten lazy enough yet to not change the oil or do some basic maintenance on my gas mower.
