Is your Twitter feed also recommending racist and Nazi stuff?

I don't know what's going on, sometimes I go on Twitter and the first thing I find are racist, homophobic posts, etc. I've never consumed or followed people with this behavior, so I have no idea why my feed recommends this content.

I deleted Twitter off my phone the other day but yeah it was recommending that trash because that's all the site it is anymore. That and porn anyway.

I'm thinking about downloading Bluesky which I hear is about where the original Twitter was but is still making updates to add features.

i don't use my feed on twitter. i just use the "following" tab. cause my feed is full of almost exclusively political content ranging from both extreme sides to normal stuff. considering i litterally unchecked every political interest in the settings with the intention of not seeing political content, that definitely feels like they're just force feeding it to me anyway.

I can scroll for one minute and literally see anti-male, anti-female, anti-white, anti-black, anti-Jew and anti-muslim posts. All stacked on top of each other. I don't think Twitter's algos are on point these days.
