Funny how anything  not  supportive of the extreme left is described as "toxic" these days. Nobody's forcing anyone to read twitter. The difference these days is how thin skinned people are of opinions other than how wonderful it is that anyone can be anything they identify as and unless it's a conservative Christian it's all absolutely fine. "Inclusive" actually means accepting literally anything except conservative Christian morality including moral absolutes and the concept that male and female are the only sexes with the term "gender" only being applied to anything but language for about 50 of the last ten thousand years. But you do you and keep drinking the koolaid that lied to women since the 1950s when suffrage was replaced with feminism. That rattling you hear in the cemeteries is the suffragettes turning in their graves at what modern western society thinks women should be. Hint: slaves to employers who pay just enough so they can pay taxes and destroy the traditional family unit.

That's not twitter, that's any social media if you dive into the unbleached, stagnant, echo chambers. Also if you dive deep enough you may realize that the toxicity is relative to your own beliefs, and some will believe you're toxic simply for existing with your ideology as well. Just as you see them with theirs.

My yardstick isn't what people say, or believe, but what they do. It's super easy to get aggro online, or echo a popular movement irl. It doesn't really affect how you work, your friends, whether you go to war for those beliefs, etc.

If you’re on that side of twitter, then obviously. You see what you look for. I use twitter for two things. Following my favourite gaming pages for updates, and following my favourite nsfw artists. I never come across any toxic behaviour or drama on there.
