Do you think racist accounts on X and other SOCIAL MEDIA platforms, that spew nothing but racial hatred, will affect society long term?

Lots of social media accounts (that are clearly bots) do nothing but fan the flames of racial hatred. Any dispute/argument between different races is often used to validate people's belief of seeing said group as savages that are unsuitable to live with. In addition, many of these accounts tend to skew people's perception of crime by only posting one group committing all the crime and never reporting about anything else.

For example. Black bouncer has an altercation with a white male, who actually assaulted the bouncer first. Racist account on X try to spin this as blacks being savages and claiming that the bouncer did this unprovoked.

Content creators on social media aren't any better as a lot of them will spew racial hatred if they think that will get them views and it is what their audience wants to here.

That bouncer did his job. He put the little trust fund baby into a choke hold to control him. And he kept him there until it was clear the little prick accepted his situation. End of violence. De-escalation. No one was harmed. White boy's ego was justifiably bruised though. And his white girlfriend was no doubt very impressed... with the bouncer.

Back to the question though. Yes, these racist websites and a lack of corporate governance to deal with racist accounts is harmful to society. These websites give a mechanism for a small minority of hate mongers to broadcast their voice to a large number of people. We see it here on GAG every day. And it is tolerated. The anonymous posts should be removed and the accounts deleted. It is an attempt to fan the flames of racial division. What purpose does that serve other than promoting violence?

It certainly has and effect on those societies with huge populations of stupid and racist people, like in the USA. Sadly, even if you eliminate it from all social media, it would still get "taught" in much of the country, and would be exacerbated by the already present income disparities between black/brown people and Caucasians.

It's hard to say what happened with the bouncer. The video doesn't show an assault if there was one. You can't hear what is being said between the two men. The white kid is obviously drunk off his ass but you can't tell much else. Bars and clubs are full of this low IQ behavior or they wouldn't need bouncers in the first place. The rest of it isn't surprising. You single out a group, call them names, try to destroy them they get angry and bloody your nose. There's nothing surprising about that. If there weren't a bunch of Nazis around before there sure are now and it's a growing problem. FAFO.

"Racist" and "Hate"?

I can say that there are tons of people in society now that sure think they are experts on what is racist and what is "hate".

Since many people in the USA seem to think EVERYTHINK is racist that probably proves they don't know anything.

I know a lot of people from other countries who are amazed at how obsessed people in this country are about race and how sensitive and lacking in humor we are. They testify that the U. S. is not very racist and that many other places they've been to or they live in are overtly racist.

Hate? Once again we are replete with people who feel they are the orbiter of what is hate.

People who are even labeling things as "racist/hate spewing" accounts already are a red flag to me.

Social media amplifies the influence of extreme voices. The more intense the racially hateful content, the more likely it is to be recommended and spread by algorithms, giving bias a platform and even turning it into "traffic." The real problem lies not with individual voices, but with the platform mechanisms that inadvertently facilitate the spread of hatred.

at the 6-7 second mark, you can see the other guy taking a step back as the bouncer takes a step forward

and the racist replies and tries to change history. The young man was told by the bouncer to leave. The young man completely disregards the bouncers orders and tries to push pass him bouncing into his chest. Clearly showing clear signs of aggression and not wanting to follow orders.

The bouncer then restrains the young man. Another male (who is white) also pushes the young man against the car and carries him away. But of course, racist won't fault him for that and claim he was just doing his job.

Again the bouncer is not the aggressor. The white guy and bouncer are having a dispute. The white guy then signals with his arm to go. The white guy disregards what the bouncers says and pushes pass him, bouncing his chest into the bouncers shoulder and chest.

The bouncer then restrains the white male by getting him into a headlock. The other male is a white male.

If this were a dispute between 2 white men, you would not be going out of your way to paint the bouncer in the worse possible light. Again, dumb racist hiding behind anonymous post trying to vindicate the black male while acting like the white male is innocent in all this.

We're doing what we can to get rid of the left because of that. And, most of them are jumping ship to join our side. Before long, there won't BE any democrats and all that racism will stop.
