personally i think giving women monthly benefits and encourage them to settle down eventually and have kids would fix the problem

So a lot of women do want to have children but can’t because childcare is too expensive. I can agree with a government stimulus program that will cover the cost of all daycares, along with groceries for the child and medical care that changes regularly to account for inflation and the decline in the value of certain currency. Also, a year of maternity leave minimum rather than the American 6 weeks, along with paternity leave.


The women that want to have kids still want to, but they’re just having them later in life because they’re smart enough to recognize that if they tried to have kids when they barely make enough to feed and house themselves, they won’t be able to afford it for a child too.

Some say that the declining birth rate is a hoax meant to cause panic, radical feminists say it’s because having children is a way for men to control women and would rather force them into it than reward them for it, or that the government just doesn’t care as much as it wants you to believe

I would not fix the birth rate decline. Hopefully, the birth rate will continue to get lower and lower until the world is not overpopulated. If the population is low enough, the birth rate will increase, naturally. It works with rats and people are not different than rats.

I'm part of it; I deliberately chose not to have kids. About 40+ years ago, I could see the shitstorm coming that we are now in and I wanted to protect my kids from it. The only way to do that is not have them. Therefore, I advocate for others to do the same exact thing in the interest of protecting their kids.

Nothing will correct the birth rate decline. You would have to take away all means of birth control and deny women the right to earn their own income, the two pillars of their independence. Concerning the former not even men would want that.

I think there is an environmental concern that is making everyone infertile. Everyone seems to be having IVF treatment today. There must be a reason for it.

People in developed countries don't want to have children. It is that simple. The rise of IVF treatments has most likely to do with the age at which many women start trying to have children: 40+
