And decide they actually were Nazis and proud of it. Here is a very partial list of social programs Democrats are responsible for all of which were originally opposed by Republicans and later defended by them. Child labor, 40 hour work week, overtime, unemployment insurance, medicare, health care and social security. All called communism by Republicans - most oof whom had no idea what word meant or how to spell it. Please, if you're going to talk the talk go ahead and walk the walk by not using any f these horrible democratic initiatives. You will likely have no idea who these people were because stupidity seems to be a requirement for membership any more. George Will, Sam Nunn, John McCain were all stand up, intelligent Republicans that managed to articulate a conservative opinion where intelligence, knowledge of history, geography and science weren't hated and who we appalled at Trump and many of hiss supporters.

Again, the above services were all proposed, voted on, the above programs solely by democrats and ardently opposed by Republicans so please don't be hypocritical as well as small minded and use any of these. Stick to your stong points, hate ummm, hate and ummm hate

social programs have some benefit and some cost factor. Even Al Gore wanted to modify SS because it's corrupt to the gills with govt sticking it's hands into it. my upcoming SS check won't even pay for food now... due to govt inflating it away. That's not secure...

There's benefits to social programs, so it's fair to say there is a balance required otherwise the have nots rebel or just suffer too much when others do well.

The country club Republican party is gone. President Trump created a more inclusive party based on the working class. Law Enforcement, labor unions, military veterans and many other demographics have become Republicans. Large numbers of black and Hispanic voters voted for Trump as well as young people.
Today's Republicans are pro citizen, anti war and pro law and order. America First.
