Russia is power hungry. Remember that Russia invaded Ukraine. Of course Ukraine defended itself. Russia was targeting hospitals and schools. America has provided weapons to Ukraine to defend themselves. Recently Biden provided weapons that could reach a short distance into Russia to target the military bases that are launching the attacks against Ukraine. Moscow began the war against Ukraine in 2014. They began the full scale invasion in February of 2022. Polish military counterintelligence has warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is already prepared for a small operation against NATO frontier states in northeastern Europe, as the alliance seeks to deter aggression from Moscow while bolstering Ukraine against the ongoing Russian invasion.

Putin first announced changes in the nuclear doctrine in September, when he chaired a meeting discussing the proposed revisions. He has previously warned the U. S. and other NATO allies that allowing Ukraine to use Western-supplied longer-range weapons to hit Russian territory would mean that Russia and NATO are at war. Ukraine is only using weapons in Russia to attack the military bases that are sending attacks against Ukraine. So Russia is stating that Ukraine defending itself will allow Russia to attack NATO countries.

Trump has stated that he can immediately stop the war there. He would do it by ending support to not only Ukraine, but to NATO countries. Trump is removing support to friendly countries and supporting his buddy Putin. Putin would love to nuke the US and other countries, but he knows that the US military vehicles that carry nuclear weapons are in far better shape than theirs and have been for decades. And US military vehicles such as submarines are superior at remaining hidden to Russian vehicles. Those who consider Biden providing limited support to Ukraine to be an act of war against Russia are pretty stupid. And the current situation is extremely volatile. We need to stand tall and not show fear or Putin will attack us and other peaceful countries. Russia is the perpetrator and those blaming Biden are supporting Russia against all others.

I think he'll hold off and try to negotiate/roll Trump first. But so far Ukraine is only striking about 70 miles into Russia. And the ATACMS that the U. S. gave Ukraine only has a range of about 300 miles. That is not far enough to strike Moscow. But it isn't that far away from it. If Ukraine's able to get inside Russia about 150 miles or so then Moscow would be in range. This would drastically change the situation. It all comes down to how threatened Putin feels. He has to know a nuclear strike greatly changes the game. Because fallout becomes an issue. And you cannot control the winds. I've said before that I could see Putin using low yield dirty nukes and playing off as acts of terror.

I can see a tactical nuke being used as a “you see we are being serious” sort of flex but I don’t see them risking a full scale nuclear war.


If they do use a tactical nuke you can say goodbye to any Russian federation forces outside of Russia though.

Ballistic missiles is a meaningless term. It just means the missile runs out of fuel before it hits the target and enters a "ballistic arc". You are trying to use threatening language here to make something sound scary and manipulate peoples emotions. Just something worth pointing out.

Also sending weapons, including intercontinental ballistic missiles (which Biden has not done) to Ukraine would not be an act of war against Russia. That is not what an "act of war" means. It is also not a declaration of war nor a hostile act. Words have meaning and you are not using them properly.

No, but the “peace” deal is already in the works. There will be a violent escala to grab land and whatever the front lines are after the inauguration, those will become the new borders. So basically give Russia whatever they can take and fuck Ukraine.

Maybe, but if he does they'll most likely all end up in Ukraine. Also, I don't think the implication of Putin nuking Ukraine would be that America would then have "no choice" but to support Ukraine in the war. I'm pretty sure that would bring the war to a very quick end.

@saraupstairs I left my bulkhead open and a skunk ended up in my basement. I did not want my wife to know. I got my oldest son to come down rather basement and we set out some dry cat food to see if we could lure the skunk out. It took a while but he went over to the cat bowl we put out. I put a trash barrel over the skunk and the bowl of cat food. i had a piece of plywood and slis it under the inverted trash barrel and the two of us got it up the stairs . we put it behind the shed and I tied a string around the trash barrel handle and tipped it over from a good distance. The skunk just continued to eat.
