TV Personality Ellen Degeneres known for her show ”The Ellen Show” and her wife Portia De Rossi has decided to move out of USA after Trump winning, they are now in the UK, any thoughts?

AMERICANS, not even just the American government (that’s coming too, though), but just American CITIZENS showed their true colors on Election Day, and said loud and clear “most of us care more about the price of our bread than just generally not fostering a hateful, hurtful, and sometimes dangerous climate in this country for women just like Ellen and Portia.

This country is anti-women, anti-LGBTQ, and anti-POC. Two of those apply to Ellen and Portia. Why in the world would they want to live here knowing that? How could they ever feel truly comfortable? And they’re rich, lmao, it’s not a thing for them to move. They might already have a place there and are just selling their American property for all I know. You always hear these MAGA hardos yelling “if you don’t like it here then leave!” (while constantly complaining about America the last four years🙄), and then they make noise about it when people actually do leave.

I know people talk a lot of trash about Ellen because it sounds like she hasn’t always been a nice person, but that’s all independent of her right to live her life as a legally married lesbian woman. A federal ban on gay marriage could fuck that all up, all because some holy rollers on the now-corrupt-and-politically-weaponized Supreme Court don’t approve of it.

This wasn’t a normal election. Trump is an EGREGIOUSLY bad candidate. The MAGA platform is rooted in EGREGIOUSLY bad values. This isn’t just “higher taxes vs lower taxes”, “more regulations vs fewer regulations.” It’s way beyond that. These are moral values disguised as political ideologies this time. This was a critical and highly consequential character check for Americans collectively, that should’ve been a LAY-UP, but we failed it with flying colors. The bad guys won, against all that we would normally count on to make sense in a rational world, and that is extremely scary and disheartening for the good guys.

We’re all in utter disbelief that we live alongside so many people who, despite their redeeming qualities and the positive relationships we have with some of them, have this one unforgivable flaw in their character. I wouldn’t be friends with a civilly liable rapist, for example, nor would I be friends with someone who was friends with a civilly liable rapist and didn’t think that was disqualifying, so I SURE AS SHIT wouldn’t vote for one.

So, if they want to get out, I totally get it. This one kind of has a “last straw” feel to it. It’s like a bad relationship with infidelity, and you keep forgiving, but then they bang your best friend and something snaps, and you throw their clothes on the lawn and set their car on fire, lmao. Past the point of no return.

We’re starting to realize that by maintaining friendly relationships with people who don’t ultimately give a fuck about the groups in question if it means a thicker wallet for them is just enabling the problem, and there needs to be a much harsher message sent, with much more freezing out and social ostracization. There used to be hope held for these people but I think a lot of us are just DONE. And they’ll of course say “Fine! Who needs ya anyway?”, but they’ll feel it in reality. The hard MAGA cultists won’t care, but the goofs who just kind of blindly voted Trump because “um…I just like.. I like his policies” and can’t detail it any further and should be fucking disenfranchised until they can pass exams in Civics, Media Literacy, and Critical Thinking, they’ll hopefully get the idea when family and friends stop calling, and they can’t get laid in a whorehouse with a fistful of $50s.

So she’s making one last headline as she rides off into the sunset.

And if Trump is truly that evil why didn’t she leave in 2017 or 2018 or 2019, or 2020.
It was Trump’s administration then too and she was perfectly fine
