I live in Europe and I'm not worried about it why are you americans so worried. It's like the whole Sweden gang thing every American has to bring up. The crime rate in Europe is still way fucking lower than in the U. S. so worry about your own country. You don't actually have an objective view on Europe if all you know is what the U. S. media tells you ok? So just chill it'll be alright.

The fact that Russia is winning the war is bothersome. But it won't change a huge amount. More countries will want to join Nato and European countries will invest more in defense than before but I don't think this will make a significant difference. The main thing Russia is worried about is that their Border is insanely big. If they can move forwards to Poland and Romania it will already be a lot smaller. But this is 2024 they will never reach that far again.

They've been fighting for 3 years and have only taken over 1/6th of Ukraine. For those people there it sucks but I don't think it's as big of a deal geopolitically as a lot of people want it to be.

What I am surprised about is that the U. S. didn't give more weapons. The amount of investment you guys put into military and now you had an opportunity to put the weapons to use and you barely did anything. I'm sure you could have worked out some financing with Ukraine that they'd pay in the future maybe not the whole price but a decent amount so that the U. S. tax payer doesn't have to pay all of it but I really don't get it. Your economy would have benefitted too if you built more missiles and sold them but you waited way too long and when you did send weapons it was not enough to turn the war around.

China cut communication lines in October 2023 and the ship was found to be missing an anchor. Quite simply "accident prone" Chinese shipping can't be tolerated. The ships themselves could be embargoed but that is obviously insufficient.

Even though they are international water ways it will become necessary to embargo Chinese shipping from the Baltic and the Mediterranean. They won't get away with "it was an accident" as in 2023.

Nor can they get away with their track record of about 30 cable cuts from 2023.

I think this is the most serious event of the three and I doubt N Korea would be doing what it is without a Chinese nod.

I can more easily see a Cold War 2 coming about with China and i would think it is necessary.

I heard that the N. Koreans were changing sides and going with Ukraine after Russia set them up to be point men and slaughtered instead of their own. I don't know what to believe anymore.

Already there in the simmering of it, not all unlike WWII. What it takes to make commitment of "boots" is a strike on mainland, sinking of ship, crashing of plane, etc.. That's what was done to start WWII and Vietnam. The decision, is in the hands of a few people at the top. We already know everyone on this site will kill each other if ordred to. Humans have not evolved... if anything, have devolved.

Is the goal to reduce human population? If so, they are on a fast track to achieve that.

The divisions are drawn... the severity rachetting up to where Russia strikes nato conventionally (to take out the LR missiles). USA is already engaged in the war using those missile systems. Sabotage, bank outages, and other cyber attacks probable.

China has 10,000 troops in Belarus... training and such. They could be delpoyed into Kursk soon as well. They have an agreement to defend each other... like Nato... and russia was attacked.

Might melt down into a cold division. Lets hope it doesn't suck the rest of us in and cooler heads prevail.

North Korea is NOT in the war against Ukraine. They are sending troops, yes, but there has been no official declaration of war between either of them. The troops are not there fighting for North Korea, they are there fighting for Russia as part of the Russian military. The distinction is very important.

Russia and China (this was probably the work of Russia though) has been sabotaging infrastructure, including communication, inside Europe for a very long time. This is not a true escalation. The Russian launch of IRBMS is also nothing to take seriously. They are just missiles and Russia has been shooting missiles at Ukraine for years now.

Also, this is making WW3 less likely, not more. I really wish people would stop getting scared over things they dont understand.

Wars are always happening all over the world. For example, France has been in a proxie war in Africa with Russia for years. People don't talk about it much because they can't vilify the USA over it. If America is not involved, wars tend to just happen and nobody complains.

1. We should not take part in a proxy war with Russia using unallied Ukraine.
2. Furnishing long range missiles to Ukraine to use against the Russian homeland is an act of war. It is worse than the Cuban missile crisis. Putin is justified to retaliate.
3. Russia's actions in Ukraine are not a threat to our National Security or the security of out NATO allies. We have no business supporting Ukraine in any way.

WW3 is more likely to start in the Middle East than the conflict in Ukraine. We also have one of the most anti-muslim incoming presidents ever. He also likes war and the military. Plus, he likes Russia, so if Ukraine thinks they'll get help from us in that war, they're mistaken. We won't (openly) help Russia, but it's unlikely we'll help Ukraine.

Dont forget That biden allowed ukraine to use American missles which have to be directed using American satelite targeting systems.

This means that america would be firing at russia by proxy.

In response to that, putin said he now has the right to target the military industry of any country that allows ukraine the use of such weapons.
