Not sure how it could be done on a national scale, but yes it is a shame that it runs as wild as it does. There is one thing that does work and could work everywhere and that is PARENTS control your kids phones as I have my kids at least the two that have phones.
I have a technical background in IT from an eon ago but I was thinking about this today. A dedicated set of servers who hosted only G rated and PG rated apps in a closed environment would work. As children age, they get access to more content such as PG rated content. The parents would buy phones and tablets that could only access this environment or an OS that limited anything else.
The Internet is full of misinformation and young minds haven't yet developed to think things through properly. The reality is if your not teaching your daughter about sex then some unqualified influencer is.

Doubt that. It depends how you use it.
Brain rot social media like Tik Tok and absorb more brain rot YT (Shorts) and have the big tech rape your private data? You bet.
Obtain marketable skills and make money with remote work, swing trading, dropshipping, learning Linux or utility purposes? Nah.
I think it's less the internet and more the access to everything these days. Before you had to put more effort into finding trouble.
I think that’s right.
It’s too much information and stimulation at your fingertips at all times. Too much advertising. Too much comparing. Too much manipulative influencing. And never ending streaming to your phone. It’s too much.
No. The opposite, for the old and technologically ignorant. It's not the "young" who are getting scammed for thousands by "princes"
Wrongo. Gen Z falls for scam far more than their grandparents. There are many such articles on this. Sometimes I feel like I am one of the few well read on here.
