my onion question is... the other side (deep state/necon/etc..) what is their reaction. they aren't going to roll over. risk in my view or instigated problems... black swan event... is high... because they are not pacified.

When the West pushed some buttons... namely, moving east with NATO, Ukraine shifted west and the Donetsk region fell into civil war... was inevitable they would lose a chunk of land. thats my opinion. some, like harris... want to fight for every inch of Ukraine. That does not look viable to many.

And like Russia would ever give up Crimea and its 240 year old naval base. Would the U. S. ever surrender any of it's naval bases?
