A big one is that none of them really have ever worked an after school job. They are also taught to feel oppressed and victimised, so called microagressions. From what I can see of colleges they are immersed in an invented make believe fantasy world with specific rules that don't exist anywhere elsewhere, a cult like religious doctrine and even an invented vocabular that you can't use outside of college. When I say an invented imaginary world I mean as real as Harry Potter.
Most of them scrape by getting their degrees or flunk out and think because they've been to college they are smarter than everyone else when the reality is you could saved thousands and ended up with the same degree doing nights at community college part time.
Look at all the words they invented as part of their fantasy world Systemic racism, toxic masculinity, Mansplaining, safe space, woke, Heteronormativity, BIPOC, Misogynoir, Cultural appropriation, reproductive justice, critical race theory, Latinx, intersectionality, BAME, Bropropriate, CIS, Clicktivism, Deadname, decolonise, coloniser, Birthing person, White adjacent, White Fragility, Implicit Bias, implicit Association, Social-Emotional-Learning etc. Most of these words are meant to attack and indult while making them feel superior. From experience they will rarely utter a coherent sentence that means anything and will repeat these words all the time. I didn't even get to pronouns, genders and sexualities.
Say no more you already earned the MHO! Excellent analysis. At the moment on my phone I don't see any way to award you the MHO but I will look for it later.
Every younger generation coming up seems flawed to those who came before them. But as the youth get older, more mature, and wiser there is often redemption. Let's hope this generation has not been lost for good as that would be a catastrophe for the country.
All of these things stem from a movement to destroy our culture. The most important thing we can do to defend our youth today is to dismantle the machine behind that movement. And I believe that the recent election may well be the turning point toward that end. It's long overdue.
A lot of Gen Z was raised (or are being raised) by parents that have bought into the notion that you must do everything for your child in order to be a good parent. They believe in nurturing self esteem at all costs, even if they never learn to cope with life's disappointments. A lot of the kids are coddled, over protected, and stunted. They are not ready for life.
Yes, I refer to that as the "get the trophy even when you lose the soccer game" syndrome. The notion that everybody is a winner no matter how you play the game creates kids who go up to be losers.
Exactly. And that isn't a good trait to have when you need to earn a living.
yes we see that in school and have seen for years. school frankly, is not the place to train them. home is...
the kids are smart, but they are not allowed to fail and suffer pain. they are pampered too much, not punished... not yelled at, not beaten, or scolded enough. they get away with crap.
so now employers have crap to deal with... and the kids will suffer more.
frankly, many may kill themselves because of the stress due to lack of training.
The country has failed these kids. It's a shame. In my view the main problem is we allowed these leftist cultural destroyers to pervert the culture. Hopefully this election was the beginning of the dismantling of their cultural assault and these kids will be redeemed as they mature.
Agree with that for the most part.
The kids I see succeed... are either driven by parents, engaged in sports. If the kids don't have good support around them, they are in trouble.
So many school systems are junk and the parents either don't know, or don't have better options.
It's also... very expensive... which is another govt corruption. Everything govt touches gets poisoned, becomes expensive. that's their plan... they use corporations (including the school complex) to inflate economy. they dont' want deflation.
I'm sure he will try to stir the pot and get a lot of resistance...
Okay, i teach Computer Science at a couple of colleges. The students I am getting are the product of a High School that consisted of Zoom from a laptop. They are not prepared for college, never mind the workplace.
That's scary. Yeah, closing the damn schools for Covid was a massive mistake. Messed up a whole generation.

Gen Z has been fed a ton of bullshit, from every angle, so it's not their fault entirely. Parents and the education system have failed most of Gen Z.
Very true. You can't blame kids that they were brainwashed in their schools. We need to get rid of the woke Democrat leftist curriculum AND the teachers' unions who are all in bed with each other to pervert our children and destroy our culture and America's leadership.
You would think that college would prepare them to be on time and meet deadlines at least...
School indoctrination of left-wing retards.
