For example, in the past people were afraid of being explicitly racist, homophobic and sexist, nowadays they don't need to pretend they are not prejudiced, because it is enough to say that it is against the left and woke culture that they don't like. If the protagonists in a film are black, racists don't need to point out the race of the characters, they just need to call the film woke. No, this isn't true at all. If a film, for example, is labelled "woke" (hate that word) it will be because the creators of the film put preaching a political message above all else, like the story, the characters and so on. In other words, people see right through the subterfuge and understand they're being belittled, lectured to, and made to feel guilty for simply being who they are.
