I love how “wokeness”, as they’ve branded it, is really nothing more than an appeal to humans to be kind, decent, and accepting of fellow humans who have things harder than them in some built-in ways, and maybe making an effort to check our own blind spots and try to have an empathetic understanding of their struggles that we could never relate to, and the right wingers are just like “LOL, no.”

I have to admit, I don’t understand why being woke, which I understand to mean awake and aware rather than asleep, would be anything negative.
I’d much rather be awoke to these times than silenced, deafened and blinded to what’s happening in this country. And I support all those bears. There’s a missing one, there should be a “no guns” bear! They don’t belong in people’s hands.
