Why do some rich people like to brag about their wealth to poorer people?

You'll generally find that people who were born in a rich (or even wealthy) family will be at ease with what they have and show no need to brag about it.

These traits are normally seen in people who got rich overnight, think they are now much more important and need constant attention. Take away their money and they're just as they were before: shallow people with hardly any value at all.

That is false. They claim the possession of a handsome annuity makes them think that to say how hard it is to make both ends meet is their bounden duty.

You cannot conceive of an occasion which will find them without some suitable evasion. Their first point is that money isn't everything and that they have no money anyhow is their second. They talk about it as if it were something you got pink gums from.

"Some" is the key word here. MOST rich people keep their finances to themselves and shop at Walmart.

I've noticed a few rich people gloat about their wealth as they are narcissistic or feel they have no self worth and their money makes them feel important.

Why: because they're actually not as rich as they would like to be (or pretend to be).

The few super rich I met never saw a reason to brag.

rich people don't do that. wealthy people brag cause they are still insecure and upcoming.
