Getting your daughter-in-law appointed Senator isn't swampy?

It looks like Lara Trump might be appointed as Senator for Florida to replace Rubio by DeSantis in exchange for a job in the Trump administration (maybe SecDef because Hegseth is such a terrible choice). She's planning to stand down as head of the RNC.

I was wondering why it was Trump would post absolute nonsense, and the obvious answer is that he wants people talking about that rather than something good for Biden (like the recent jobs report - jobs gains every month of Biden's presidency so far, iirc), or bad about him.

"Democrats want to abolish the popular vote..."
"Democrats want to abolish the popular vote..."

Of course, he could just be trying to pretend to be a man of the people, elected in a landslide, despite not getting 50% of the vote and only a 1.6% margin over Harris.
