Why? does the media give us the information on a federal case when it is not even public they "leak" what they want you to know?

i didn't get my question across correctly. let me try again.

the media wants you to believe a certain way so they release information for that story even though that's not really the story. it might be a part of it and it might not even be true.

so, why do they do that? is it to appease an audience? to make money somehow? to sway your opinion? all of the above?

i just don't believe that he is guilty of this crime. i think that the surviving roommates had something to do with the murders
