I don't know how much money those guys have, but it's only a small fraction of their net worth. There is a HUGE difference between the two. Understanding that difference also explains how they are worth so much.

Also keep in mind that the uber rich pay huge amounts of tax, which means the rest of us pay less. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Anyone can do it if they are wise with their money, don't have kids as a teen.

Money makes money. It's the snowball effect. Thats a 1 billionair to 5 300 billionairs in 5 years. It's only going to get worse. The only thing left to buy is entire governments.

Astound? no. What astounds me is people like Musk's drive to change society. There is a big difference between Bezos and Musk. Bezos is motivated purely by profit Musk by something much deeper. Musk is a forward thinker.
