At the end of the day Telsa scrip will need to be supported my results , the price seems ludicrous. So who will be correct Musk or Gates? Gates is big time short on Tesla still , that makes sense from a fundamental perspective.

And again today , I look at that Tesla share price in a slightly negative market and BOOOOMMMMMM. So how are Bills shorts looking? Not so good right now. I have a mate who only buys Tesla think he started around $150 .

Well those shorts would have been utter heaven over the last 3 days..
Even at $200 , there is a lot of blue sky factored in , that rise was utter ludicrous.

And Bill will make billions ( for the Charity ) if he is correct , I think Bill is correct at some point ( opinion only ) but WHEN? Is the issue.. because just like in 98 , at some point it has to come back to fundamentals , and right now , the match just is not there.. its miles off , but markets factor in potential , so thats more the issue..
But Tesla is Tesla.. lets not forget Bill went though 98 , and came out the other end , plus Microsoft is real and actual , with auto - renewal , new products , etc... The other sells cars ! Ummm China? and every car manufacturer? Look , I'm not brave enough to Short Tesla , but will watch with interest how this plays out.

It is fun to watch someone else short. There are few IT companies that survive. IBM is the most enduring. Microsoft might but they missed big on phones and Linux is the OS for most servers now. I'm on Linux now because I'm tired of donating to MS. If corporate s move away from supplying window laptops it will go badly for MS I would think.

Nah, Tesla is doing shit, and not able to fulfil all its orders compared to competitors. X too isn't making him money and is worth only around 40% of what he bought it for. The rest of his ventures are similarly on the low.

It's more likely his government contracts fulfilment is the only thing adding to his wealth.

It affects virtually everyone and the impacts are world wide. Vitally important , and an absolute for the USA.

All of our family investments are with an investment company who our family has used for years and we have always done well. We get notices all the time of where things are being invested, my husband is a banker who understands. All I see are the quarterly statements and make the tax payments. The hard part is for the pro's to handle.

I don't follow Tesla share price at all. There is a view we are in at the end of an 18 year cycle but there is always a bear market to follow a bull.

I guess it depends on how long Gates bets are because it is certain prices will fall eventually. Still, crypto has no fundamentals. :)

@molonski2 I think that Elon has recognized the fact that the electric car will never get any traction. There has not been any considerable design changes in the Tesla in 2 or 3 years. The self driving car is still many years away.
