Tesla being an electric vehicle has been generally viewed as a sort of "left" type car, with the traditional user of a "pick up" truck being used more by "right" leaning people

With sells of pickups in the US each year making up millions, is he trying to preach to the right to "rebrand" to sell his tesla pickups out next year?

He is a business man and is trying to capitalize. The Ford F-150 is the best selling vehicle in North America and he is trying to complete with that market. Its not pickup trucks he is going after but semi trucks as well.

I feel like he's just trying to figure out how many public mistakes he can make in a row before it actually comes back to him in a meaningful, negative way. Personally I stopped counting.
