Personally, I have a very sarcastic and dark sense of humor.

It depends on how they say it. It actually has to be  funny  to be a joke, which a lot of people miss surprisingly lol. If they say something dark, and that's all it is, something dark for shock value, then it's gonna raise some red flags to me. Someone who can find humor in a situation despite its dark subject matter however, and make it something lighthearted and ironic is my favorite kind of person.

My whole family is like that. But we are all sensitive to when it either will not be appreciated or might not be appropriate. My sister-in-law has a hard time with it. When my brother gets going, she tells him "You need to call your sister!" Sometimes she even dials the phone and hands it to him when I answer. lol

It depends on HOW sarcastic and HOW dark.

Like is absolutely everything she says going to be sarcastic and dark? If she sees little kids playing on a swing set, is she immediately going to say something about the Bubonic plague?

I don't mind a little sarcasm and darkness, as long as it's not her whole personality, and as long as she doesn't seem like she's deliberately trying to make people feel bad.

I'd rate myself as being ironic and sardonic more than sarcastic and I think dark. However I rarely aim it at individuals and especially not at a partner. I aim it more at the world around me.

If it can be taken at multiple levels that is even more fun to me.

I would like a partner who is similarly disposed.

I kinda am that person . And I have to be because I like to laugh. And most of my friends understand my point when I'm saying whatever it is I'm saying because it is so stupid LOL but yeah you have to laugh
