What is the biggest signs of America declining as an empire?

Everyone says America is on the decline and don't have much time. Like any other collapsed Empire, it will collapse too. And very soon.

I think the most important signs are the rising tide of economic inequality, vigilante "justice" and rampant corruption.

Their decline means they will interfere less in world affairs, which means less chaos in the world. Otherwise, this country itself is strong and is showing no signs of weakness at the moment.

Not sure declining. There are problems. The biggest is educated workforce versus unskilled workers.
